I suggest...not to take them.
You're going to spend all that money and they won't be able to ride hardly any rides. Besides--they won't even remember going.
Wait until they are older and can ride more things and actually remember their trip.

Skip it. The 3 year old will only like some of the shows and the 21-month old will get wiggly & tired. It's SO much money for the day and they just don't enjoy it that much. I've heard Knott's Berry Farm has more for little kids and Sea World in San Diego is a lot more suited for younger kids.
My good friend brought her kids here for Disneyland at nearly the same ages. They cried and no one had fun - she did it again a couple years later (5 and 3) and even the 5 year old was still too frightened to go on a single ride.

Don't listen to everyone who is telling you not to go. My son just turned 5 and he has been to Disneyland 4 times already, and my daughter is 15 months old and has been once already also. You will have a blast and so will your children. They can go on almost everything in Fantasyland, you can hold them on the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland, they can go through the different houses in ToonTown, and then over in California Adventure is The Bug's Life area that will be fun for them. Also there is the Disney Live show with Bear in the Big Blue House and several other characters that is fun for the kids and really interacts with them.
Have a WONDERFUL time!!

I would wait until the three year old is older. I took my daughter there for her 5th Birthday. We had to take our then 6 week old son also as momma didn't want to cancel the trip.
My 5 year old had tons of fun, especially since she got to see her favorite Ariel. We are planning a Disney Cruise for our sons 5th Birthday.
Disneyland though has a ton of great attractions for the younger set, especially in ToonTown in the main park and The boardwalk games and rides. My daughter fell in love with Neptunes Carousel. She also loved eating at Ariel's Grotto, but was disappointed that Ariel didn't show up there. There is also Breakfast with the characters, which is always a big hit for the little ones.

had to chime in that i took my 11 mo old and 3 yr old to disneyworld in Fla (this was a couple of years ago) and it was wonderful!!!! We've been back once since.... Wish i could give u tips on disneyland in CA, but my kids loved the shows, anything 3D, the fireworks, characters. And if you bring a camcorder, they do not need to remember - you can show them! If you go in knowing you cannot do it all, just take what you can, it will be the time of your life! Also, cool tip, when it is time to pull over for nap or snack, make sure you and your partner have a couple of fast passes on hand. We grabbed them as we went thru, and when the kids were ready to chill, we traded turns on the big rides. A great way for everyone to enjoy! Have a wonderful time!

I would suggest waiting until they are a little older. I think they will not get the whole *disney experience* by going so young. To really enjoy disneyland, I think you need to be a little older. But thats just me.

Don't go. Your 21 month old is too young to go on anything or enjoy anything, and will just be a burden to you. Even your three year old is a bit too small to justify the EXPENSIVE admission price. Wait until they're both over 4, you'll be glad you did.

I took my son for the first time when he was 5 and even at that he wasn't thrilled. When he was 7 he loved it.
But, there is a whole section of the park where the rides are all themed for little kids, and there are some shows they would enjoy. Just pace yourselves!

DON'T GO! All they are going to see is people's kneecaps, and rude pushy people at that. You will end up spending money for nothing but trying to push a stroller through crowds.
Wait until they are 8 and 6, at least then they'll know what the hell they're looking at!

I agree. Wait until they're old enough to appreciate it. We have an almost three year old and an eight month old and wouldn't consider going for at least a few years.

I would wait until they can really enjoy it and remember it. Standing in long lines and the crowds of people. You can't even do some rides until you are a certain height.
