i have a baby on the way and i was wondering what are some of the best places to shop for baby stuff?which places have the best registry's and what are some of the best toys,fourniture,etc... i should get or that i need for the baby?

baby's r us is really great place. walmart has some great baby furniture. my son just bought his furniture there for his baby and the bed is real nice. the baby can use it when it gets oldier. register at any of the above and also jc pennys

TARGET!!!! They have cute stuff and it is good quality. Doing a gift registry is really fun there also. Some people like goin to small botiques for gifts so also register and a couple of those if you have any where you live.
If you want Winnie the Pooh, go to Wal-mart but it is all pretty cheesy. Target is the best by far.

Obviously this is your first.And don't let anybody make you think you need to have the house coming down with baby gear!!!!A few baby grows and vests boots or Adam's are good brands but tesco's and asda's are just as good when it comes to quality.As regarding furniture to start a small moses basket or carry cot will keep baby warm frilly and fancy is fine if your prepared to sit up all night cause baby can't stand the cold!!! But don't panic usually your health visitor will keep you right!!!GOOD LUCK

I really like Walmart's registry; I have over 300 things that I've picked on it. Most of the items are under 20$. They have a really good selection.

Target is my favorite. I also like Babies R Us on occasion. I didn't care for baby depot. I thought they were overpriced, and dirty and just too smushed together. And at Walmart don't buy there sleepers, in the wash they tend to shred towards the crotch. We also had bought a white crib there, and are experiencing problems with it. One toy that my children all love is the Ocean Wonders Aquarium by Ficher Price. My two year old and four year old still love to go to sleep with it on.

I would suggest getting stuff second hand . . . . kids grow soooo fast!!! I spent 100's of $$$ on lots of nice cute clothes and my son only got wear each outfit once or twice, he either grew out of it or stained it. As far as furniture and stuff I got most of mine at ikea, and toysrus.

I love Target-I got tons of my baby things there and for good prices!They have a great registry.I also registered at babies R us.

if i was you i would go to toys 'r' us or mother care they are both good but there prices are a bit high
