ob told me around 22 weeks the ears start to function somewhat, so she/he hears your voice somewhat. at 28 weeks the ears are usually developed enough to hear sounds other than mommie

Your baby can already hear you and know your voice. Your baby also knows when you are happy and when you get upset-so make sure you try to stay calm and happy for a serene birth and personality of your baby. By the way-Congrats "Mommy"!

I'm thinking it's around 10 weeks or something. For sure by 15 weeks. Start singin' now, so when baby gets here you can soothe him/her with your singing...unless you're like me and a horrible singer, then I'd consider reading to him/her.
Congrats!

sometime around 20 weeks your baby will be able to hear things like your heartbeat, stomach growling, etc... but it's not until about 24 weeks that he/she will be able to hear noises on the outside of your body.
