it's best to test a few days or a week after missed period, which will be approximately 15-21dpo...

here are the HCG levels per gestational week
week 1: 5-50
week 2: 50-500
week 3: 100-10,000
week 4: 1000-30,000
week 5: 3500-115,000
week 6-8: 12,000-270,000
week 12: 15,000-220,000

so based on that you would be able to track on which week to test best.

however, the later you test, the more accurate result.

also, it's best to see the sensitivity of the HPT that you will be using. if the label shows you a lower concnetration, such as 25mIU/mL, then it's sensitive as well those lower then 25.

it's also ALWAYS best to use first morning urine as it is concentrated and can contain the maximum amount of HCG in your urine.

i've heard of people not getting a BFP until 25DPO... it depends really. and if you want to be accurate, you could also get your blood tested as pregnancy can be detected earlier with a blood test.

good luck!
