I've liked the same guy - let's call him JT - since April this year. At the end of April there was Grade 9 "camp" - though really it was just a bus trip to a huge city 3 hours south for 3 days - and that was when we started getting to know each other, and when I started to like him.
We sat next to each other on the bus and just talked about totally random stuff but I felt so comfortable round him. JT has a great sense of humour and can always see the funny side of things, so he had me laughing the whole time. On the bus trip home I was playing around with his hand (hard to explain) and just talking and messing around and stuff... we were flirting with each other heaps....
But...
....in May, I found out he really liked me, but he was going out with this other girl. They went out for a few weeks and then she dumped him. So when he was single, me and him started talking a little more again, but a couple of people got majorly involved and it got complicated, so we stopped being

friends, and we weren't talking with each other really at all, we would make heaps of eye contact, but during a certain class we'd talk heaps.... he got together with this girl... RS*, and since the middle of July, they've been going out. Where I live, it's the summer holidays, and I recently found out (last week in fact) that he's wanted to break up with RS for ages.
I didn't think anything of it, since me and him are only really acquaintances, but I still really like him, I can't stop thinking about him...
I saw him in town a few days ago (the first time I've seen him in a month) and we were talking, and I noticed he was checking me out... and I thought he looked really good... I invited him to a party, and he wanted to come, but his mum wouldn't let him, I don't want us to become friends and the friendship gets ruined if we take it to the next level..... I don't if he likes me..... what should I do? Should I have a talk with him about this? I'm 14.

i say if u like him and he likes you then u guys should go out.so if people know that u 2 like eachouther or sumthing like that then still that dont matter he likes u and u like him theres nothing to lose but not to try!

You should continue to talk to him and be friends and wait to try and get into any relationship. Wait until you both mature more. I know this sounds like a lameass answer that some old-timer might give, but really, relationships aren't to be taken lightly, and there's really no need to engage in them as young as you are. You might come to find that even if he looks good and he's a nice guy, he's not what you really want.
Young teens who jump into relationships this early tend to end up having premarital sex, and that's not something you're really ready for at your age. Trust me, I was 16 the first time and it wasn't until after the deed was done that I realized what an emotional thing sex is and that I totally wasn't ready for it. Not to mention it increases your chances of getting pregnant, and no teenager is ready to handle that!
Take it easy, enjoy being a teenager, and know that just b/c your friends are all doing it, doesn't mean you have to! Besides, half the time your friends say they're "doing it," whatever "it" may be, half the time they're lying :)

Read what u said.He has picked other girls over u.That should tell u something.He will just use u and break your heart.Remember just because he acts like he likes u it doesn't mean it's true.You have to go by his actions.And his actions show that he doesn't care about u. You deserve better.Good luck
