Bratz dolls, bath and body stuff, lot's of girly and colorful things.Seems to be the big thing. If she is into books, i believe the Author Meg Cabot came out with young adult books geared towards young girls that seem to be popular. Also, lots of hair things from places like Claires accessories. At that age, they are so excited about becoming a teenager in a few years they tend to want to be treated like a "big girl".My neice asked me for a lot of nail polish and lip glosses.

A Learn to Knit Kit or a Knitting board. I lead a grade school knitting club and the kids really seem to like the knitting boards. You can get them for about $10 at a sewing store like JoAnns.

I'd get her something like a gift certificate to a toy store, that way, she can go in an pick out something shed like.
If your going for something more personal, most kids like to draw and paint, so you cant go wrong with an art set.
