This is a serious question, and I'm not pregnant or considering abortion, I'm just curious. Personally I will never comment on peoples views on the subject unless I'm put in the position to be able to comment i.e. unwanted pregnancy for any reason.

I've heard there are various kinds and methods of termination and was wondering what they were and how they effect people? Are different ones perhaps more emotional, more painful etc? I'm mainly curious as I'm doing research on it for a uni report. And would like if at all possible to have the "personal" touch to it. And asking on here is easier to ask than badgering women in public.

If you aren't comfortable answering or don't want me to possibly use your views then don't reply! I understand it's a dificult for many :o)

Thank you for your time,

Xx~xX

So since i can never remember to take the pill, i was thinking about the nuvaring. It seems easy, you just put it in for 3 weeks and take it out. No worrying about taking pills and all that....but i dont know if it has any worse side effects than the pill. i just dont know much about it......

How am I doing so far?
Do you think I can lose the weight by March 3rd?

I'm 5'2" , 27 years old and I weigh 155, I want to get to 130, before the 3rd of March. My ideal weight according to charts should be between 103 -136.

I just had a baby 5 months, 1 week, and 5 days ago. I was seriously overweight during my pregnancy, I got to 199 lbs.!

I've lost a total of 44 lbs. I lost the first 26 lbs. after 2 weeks: Baby 8 lbs.9 oz., Placenta & Amniotic Fluids, etc. 18 lbs., Bad reaction to pain killers 7 lbs., Breastfeeding, & Working out 11 lbs.

I'm currently 3x a week walking the treadmill with my 5 month old son in a carrier strapped to my chest at [1.5] speed, with a [1.5] incline for 20 minutes in the evening, and then i do crunches 3 reps of 25.

I pretty much eat what i want but i control my portions and call it quits 3 hrs. before bed. I nurse (breastfeed) around the clock.

Do you think I can lose the weight by March 3rd?

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and I'm begining to think about my bith plan. I am no longer with the father of my baby but we do have a common interest in our son. Is it alright for him to be in the delivery room with me holding my hand and holding my leg? Should he cut the umbelical cord? Should he be this involved in touching me or should I just have him wait in the waiting room and have my mother there? I don't hate the father on my baby, I am very hurt by his decision to leave me pregnant and I know I have to get over that, but how involved should he be if we're not involved?

Store are dangerous places with support beams, displays, people pushing buggies, children, etc.. I always seek kids flying through the aisles on these shoes with embedded skates on them. I've seen parents next to them so they know that their kids are doing it. Why do parents allow kids to endanger themselves and others by using these in stores? Why don't stores ban them? I would think that there would be a liability risk.

I gave birth to my second child about 6 months ago. Just like with my daughter three years ago i gained a ton of weight.. 52lbs with her and 58 with him. After both pregnancies i came home from the hospital much lighter and after a few weekend even out to 185. With my daughter i kept this weight for about 8 months before loosing any then dropped 55 pounds in 4 months....... samething with this pregnancy i'm stuck 185 and have been for six months..... i'm trying to stick out the year thinking my body with drop the weight like before. If it doesn't what is my best way to go i have never really had to ever diet, but i hardly eat anyway. My intake is about 1500-2000 calories a day. I work out occasionally, but after all i do run around 24/7 like a chicken with my head cut off. What are soem ways to help start getting rid of this weight NOW! Anyone else have this problem after having babies?

My 18 month old son CAN'T have fruit juices something in them gives him diahrea and makes his little butt break out in open sores(ive been told its the acid in them that occurs naturally in the fruit) i've tried watering it down and giving him veggie juice like V8. I've even tried giving him kool-aid(though i dont care for doing it) just to vary from the milk and water but the gives him diahrea also and the dyes in it turn his stools odd colors usually what ever the color kool-aid is. Am i just stuck with regular ole milk and water or can someone suggest something else

I have even had to change the sperm bank that I donate to several times because all sperm banks limit the number of children a specific donor can produce. I have been blessed with the physical and mental traits that are desirable. My educational background also helps I am sure. I say that not to brag butt to be a donor at any good sperm bank have to undergo rigorous tests, including physical exams, blood and urine analysis and regular blood draws -- as often as every two or three months. I have never had any issues with passing these. I have 3 children with my wife. The oldest just turned 5. Over the past year I have started to feel some guilt about not telling my wife. Should I tell her?

My husband goes to Vegas for a 3 day convention every year in January. Every year I go with him to Vegas.

This January he plan to only go if I want to go along. I will be 9 weeks pregnant when his trip to Vegas would take place.

At the convention center there is no smoking allowed and we could avoid the casinos since our hotel is not in one.

Should I go to Vegas when I am 9 weeks pregnant? Do you think its a bad idea? Vegas is fun for us even though we just sight see when we are there.

I have noticed that there are alot of mom's on here that critisize other moms (or dads) for things. For example I was just reading a question about a mom who lets her child sleep in a swing for naptime and there were countless people that responded to her question with comments like "why would you let your child sleep in a swing, why not just put them down and let them fall asleep on their own in their bed?" Because for some of us it's not that easy, my son also sleeps in his swing because he WILL NOT sleep in his crib at naptime. I don't see the point in leaving him in his crib screaming at the top of his lungs choking himself for a long period of time. I have tried to let him fall asleep on his own but he screams and chokes himself after even 10 minutes so theres no way I would let him do that for hours until he falls asleep when I can pick him up, comfort him and allow him to sleep in his swing.
