I gave birth to my second child about 6 months ago. Just like with my daughter three years ago i gained a ton of weight.. 52lbs with her and 58 with him. After both pregnancies i came home from the hospital much lighter and after a few weekend even out to 185. With my daughter i kept this weight for about 8 months before loosing any then dropped 55 pounds in 4 months....... samething with this pregnancy i'm stuck 185 and have been for six months..... i'm trying to stick out the year thinking my body with drop the weight like before. If it doesn't what is my best way to go i have never really had to ever diet, but i hardly eat anyway. My intake is about 1500-2000 calories a day. I work out occasionally, but after all i do run around 24/7 like a chicken with my head cut off. What are soem ways to help start getting rid of this weight NOW! Anyone else have this problem after having babies?

i had the same problem with my son but then it just fell off. i didn't change any thing. but still I am now at my prepregnancy weight and wear a size larger pant..........whats up with that???? but anyway i have heard that eating breakfast is one of the best things to do when you already have a proper cal. intake established. on average people who eat breakfast tend to weight less than those who do not.

I just had a major breakdown about my weight last week...my poor husband didn't know what to say LOL

It's so hard to lose baby weight, I just had my second child 4 months ago and I've been trying to lose the last 15 lbs for a few months and can't seem to get rid of it. I just started using Trimspa Ultra (I've never tried any pills before) but like you I've never had to diet or anything up until now, I was always naturally thin but this baby kicked me in the butt...and hips, and tummy...LOL! What I'm trying now is jogging on the treadmill before everyone gets up for about 20 min and eating better and using the Trimspa...cross my fingers that this works! I guess I don't have a lot of great advice but do know that you aren't alone so just keep at it :)

Since you already know about how many calories you take in, just cut it back by about 200-300 each day. Portion control is good, but it sounds like you already maintain a pretty good balance. Be sure to eat healthy foods and try to stay away from sweets and cheese. Just cutting back that much will help lose about a pound every week and a half (or thereabouts). I've heard that breast-feeding is supposed to help with weight loss after pregnancy, but it sounds like you may be nearing the end of that phase. My best friends swears by walking (about a mile) each day. Best of luck!

Try Weight Watchers or Nutrisystem. If all of your calories are coming from simple carbs (ie the bad carbs) then you will not lose weight.
