How am I doing so far?
Do you think I can lose the weight by March 3rd?

I'm 5'2" , 27 years old and I weigh 155, I want to get to 130, before the 3rd of March. My ideal weight according to charts should be between 103 -136.

I just had a baby 5 months, 1 week, and 5 days ago. I was seriously overweight during my pregnancy, I got to 199 lbs.!

I've lost a total of 44 lbs. I lost the first 26 lbs. after 2 weeks: Baby 8 lbs.9 oz., Placenta & Amniotic Fluids, etc. 18 lbs., Bad reaction to pain killers 7 lbs., Breastfeeding, & Working out 11 lbs.

I'm currently 3x a week walking the treadmill with my 5 month old son in a carrier strapped to my chest at [1.5] speed, with a [1.5] incline for 20 minutes in the evening, and then i do crunches 3 reps of 25.

I pretty much eat what i want but i control my portions and call it quits 3 hrs. before bed. I nurse (breastfeed) around the clock.

Do you think I can lose the weight by March 3rd?

With that kind of drive, you can do anything!!!! Congrats on what you have accomplished already. I still have about 20 lbs to shed before I am back to pre-baby weight and I wish that I could get myself as motivated as you seem to be.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

I feel lazy after reading that. I have 10 lbs to go. Gained 40. I had my son 3 months ago. If you watch what you eat and eat small portions I think you should be able to do it. Jogging is the best, put baby in the stroller.

You can definetly lose the weight and probably much sooner too. My son just turned 3 mos. 2 days ago, and I am at 110 right now. During my last month of pregnancy I was 165.

The point of a target weight is to be healthy. It is unhealthy to lose weight too quickly. A more realistic goal might be 10lbs.

Try taking you baby for daily walks. If it is too cold outside, use the local Mall. Good luck,

I gained 50 lbs while preganant. My daughter is now 6 months. I was 150... and I lost all of it . I am now 102. Honestly, if you put your mind to it, you can do it. I ate less, and walked more. I lost it all in 1 month. I also had coffee in place of meals sometimes, but I wouldn't suggest that cause I doubt it's healthy lol. But good luck :-)

girl, i know u can do it. but in the eat whatever u want part. u might want to look into eating only "healthier" foods. like lots of fruits and veggies and make sure u get ur vitamins but dont eat lots of greasy and fried foods. cuz those dont help much in losing weight. i dont know if u will lose exactly 25lbs. and u dont want to lose it too fast. but u will probably keep losing weight if u keep at what ur doing.
