Day number 1 is the first day of your period. Count the rest of the days in order until your next period. The last day before your period tells the length of your cycle.

Start counting on the first day of your period (red flow, not just spotting). That first day is cycle day 1 (CD! for short). Keeping counting until your period begins again. Using a calendar will help you record what it's been from month to month. It is normal for the cycle length to vary a little each month. If you are trying to conceive, use your shortest cycle (for example 25 days) to calculate when to start having sex and your longest cycle (say 32 days)to estimate when to stop. Good luck!

Us a calendar. Mark the day you start bleeding as day one and then mark next month the day you start bleeding as day one of new cycle. The days between is the number of days in your cycle. Watch it for a few months to get an idea your number. Understand though stress can change the number of days. So some times it may be longer or shorter.

the number of days in your cycle could change every month. one month it could be 28 day the next it could be 32 day. one reason this could happen is stress.even thinking about it to much could postpone your period. if you are trying to get pregnant you usually ovulate on day 14 of your cycle.sometimes you can even tell you are ovulating you may have a little pain on one side below your belly button or none at all. good luck

go to www.fertilityfriend.com and sign up for a free membership - there you can keep a chart. You will fill in which days you are bleeding and if you wish to do so other fertility signs and it will keep a nice neat little chart as well as predict how long your cycles are - when your next one will start and on what days you have the most chance of conceiving - helps you to conceive if you want or avoid if you don't!

Good luck.
