my daughter has really odd and unique yellow-white eyes.
sometimes she looks almost eerie, like a ghost.
she also has almost white skin, so really looks......well........dead, i guess.
sometimes when we are shopping she always picks clothes all one color, like no desighner labels, just a pale white no desighn skirt, or all black.
i think she will have even more of a hard time ajusting in her new school, shes starting middle school this year, and with those outfits im afraid kids will make fun of her, or just be scared.
should i intervene?

Does anyone know of websites that you can go on and ask opinions about baby names? I know I could always use this site, but I want other sites as well. I've gone to babynamesworld.com but the people on there are awfully mean! They never have ANYTHING good to say..and trust me, I'm not into weird names or anything like that so there's no reason to be mean. So, know any good websites?

My friends son has been diagnosed with autism. I've been thinking about it and I don't really know what it means. Is it learning difficulties or disability? Do kids grow out of it?

Do you know of one of the many things that you can do to make a difference in the lives of the unborn? Ask your OB/GYN if he/she will perform an abortion for a friend who wants to avoid going to an abortion "clinic"...if he/she says yes, find another doctor, and when you leave the doctor that performs abortions, TELL HIM/HER WHY...encourage your like-minded friends to do the same. You can even leave your doctor if any of the other doctors at that practice perform abortions. It's called voting with your dollars and you have every right to do it. This is just one thing you can do if you're just not ready to "take the fight to the streets" yet. You can not only actively work against abortion, you can refuse to support it in many different ways. When doctors see business and the associated dollar signs $$$ walking out the door, they may just have second thoughts and discontinue killing babies by abortion.

Any comments, positive or negative, about this course of action are welcomed. :-)

I am only about 3 weeks pregnant and I have been having period like cramps and was spotting a pinkish color blood which has now turned brown, and it's only when i wipe, i had a previous miscarriage in Feb. in which i had heavy bleeding! I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same things and what could be going on... I have another Drs appt. this week but i am worried about what may be going on!!

I am only 4 weeks pregnant (I conceived 11 days ago), and I am so afraid of having a miscarriage because my pregnancy is so new.

This is my first pregnancy ever.


At my last yearly exam my doctor said he has no reason to believe my body cannot carry a baby to full term, but I am still scared.


I haven't had any bleeding or cramping and I am going to the doctors this week for a beta test... I am just so nervous about the whole thing.


Is it normal to worry about a miscarriage? They are fairly common, right? Did you worry?

Okay, here is my situation. I'm trying to get pregnant. I think I was supposed to have my period a couple days ago, but it didn't come. I tested about a week ago, with an obvious negative result and now I tested again with another negative. I used a cheap pregancy test, because some people seem to think they are better. Some other info. is that I was on a mini pill for six months and went on the regular pill for about a week. This all ended about three months ago. After that I had a really light period, followed by a normal period last month. Also, I think my temp. is up just a tad because I normally run in the 97's and it is consistently in the 98's. Also, my veins are really close to the surface. I guess my question is...should I go to the doctor or just wait and see what happens? I'm really starting to get freaked. If I'm not pregnant, I'm afraid I'm not going to ovulate either because my period isn't coming.

I am asking this beacuse people have more then 1 children, so it must not hurt as much as i suspect? Right? or do you forget how much it hurt and only realise how painful it is when you are in the middle of giving birth for the second time?

i went to this restaruant with my freinds and we were talking about wat we were asking for for xmas and stuff. we were saying how we want ddesinger purses and jewrlry and shoes and we also decied that instead of saddles were going to have our parents make a 5000 dollar donation to cancer and aids charitys. well the waitress was evesdropping on our convo and she told us we were all spoiled b itches, she goes to my school, and then when we were done she told us she spit in our drinks, and then she quit so she wouldnt get in trouble wat should we do????

like this guy a lot. He is so sweet, he cares about me. He talks to me. We flirt a lot. All my friends like him. They think he is sweet and that he treats me good. I want to be with him but I dont know how to let him know this without having to say to him I like you. Havbe any ideas on how to let him know that I like him without telling him I like him. Are other moms as stressed as me? Sometimes I just want to give up! I know this is "Life" but come on now! My kids are always fighting - like cat and dog, the house seems like it's always a mess, no matter how long I clean it, then of course, there are meals to prepare, practices to take the kids too...then I am going to college now part time. My husband helps me with none of it, although I asked. AND...to make matters worse, I went to court the other day for a modification of child support for my son (i have two kids, one from a previoius relationship and another from this one) and all they could say is that I did not "work"? I WORK! The father of my son has NO kids and gets to do whatever the heck he wants. Why is it that us woman have to work - take care of the house, take care of the kids - be superwoman while the men can just sit on their butts? I'm sick of it! And very overhwelmed. I am working hard all the time.

Hey everyone. I am hoping someone has some good suggestions for my problem.

We live in a small 2 BR apartment and need to have our daughter's 5th birthday party in a few weeks. We are trying to figure out where to have it cuz fitting 30 adults and 12 kids into our apartment isn't really an option. We've called restaraunts and banquet halls, but i didn't think it was necessary to spend 400.00 on my child's birthday party. Does anyone have any ideas on what we can do or where we can go that isn't going to cost us an arm and a leg? Please dont say chuckie cheeses or mcdonalds or something dumb like that.

I want my parent and family members to know, but I don't want to see their reaction. I want to tell my friends but I'm afraid their goingto think differntly about me because I'm going to be a mom. I'm also scared about the symtoms and labor to go through. Since I have no husband, I will not have someone by my side like regular mothers-to-be. I'm just really terrified and in need of help. she's had it for about 2 days now...i've used desitin and have let her air out...i even left her without a diaper at night and just put her on top of some towels and just pulled out the soiled towel and put another clean one under her...but it just doesn't seem to be getting better...it even hurts her when i clean her...what else can i do?

since i started my periods they have always been irregular. for four years they came every 2-3 months. then after that between 30-55 days.

after a year of using condoms with my partner we stopped using them as we wanted a family and decided to let nature take its course we just did the deed when we felt like it and we did it alot.

after a year and still not pregnant i started counting how many days were in my cycle and having sex around when i thought i ovd.

after 9 months we fnally got our wish and she was born 6 months ago.

we really want another baby but my cycles are still irregular. this cycle i dont think i have ovd as i am 15 days late and getting negative tests.

im seing my doctor for a blood test this week to be sure i'm not pregnant and if it is negative will he prescribe me anything (apart from the pill) to make my cycles regular again so we can hopefully concieve quicker.

or will he say we dont need it as we have our daughter?

I believe that i might be having the false contractions I am due jan31 for a c-section and last night i was having like muscle tighting in my abdomen and was hurting every 5minutes then after 2hours it went away and i spotted very lightly once and the pain never got stronger but it stay the same and it did sort of hurt and it was uncomfortable what does anyone think? Think i should go to the doctor or are they false contractions? I have three babies already but never expereince false contractions and my first was a normal delievery the other was induce and the other was a c-section.
