I am only about 3 weeks pregnant and I have been having period like cramps and was spotting a pinkish color blood which has now turned brown, and it's only when i wipe, i had a previous miscarriage in Feb. in which i had heavy bleeding! I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same things and what could be going on... I have another Drs appt. this week but i am worried about what may be going on!!

I feel ur pain and the stress I know ur going throgh, wanting to be happy and excited but worried and don't want to get ur hopes to high.
I had my second miscarriage in april and 7 weeks. I got preg in october and again at 7 weeks I started bleeding heavy at first and then it lightened up. Because it got ligher istead on heaver and wasn't painful I was a little reasured and I had an ultrasound 4 days later all was ok.
Spotting or some bleeding in common, in fact I discovered my friend who was carring her son when I was preg in april, said the same thing happend to her, but she stressed the importance of me chilling out and being calm.
The cramps u feel is proably just ur uterus streching, I still have a cramp or two every few days.
Just chill! Pray if feel really negative and remember God is holding ur little 3wk old fetus in his hands.and he is in control of everything!

Bleeding can be a sign of something going wrong....as long as you have a doctors appointment soon, that's all that you can really do and if I were you..I would take the words from a doctor rather than someone on here that don't know for sure. Im not going to tell you you're having a miscarriage because I honestly don't know, but if you are bleeding, kudos for you for making an appointment! Best of luck...I understand what you're going through.

My friend just announced she's pregnant and she tells me she had the same as you... pinkish spotting that turned brownish. I think this might be the implantation spotting.
I had a recent miscarriage and I didn't spot. I just bled, very heavy (you know the feeling...). I didn't have any physical symptoms prior to; except that my nausea and my sore breasts went away. Just to be sure, I think you should see your doctor. Since you've had a prior miscarriage, that puts you in the "high risk" zone and he might want to do a quantitative HcG test. That will tell for sure.

With only 3 weeks into the pregnancy a slight bleeding could be all you will experience. It is not certainly a miscarriage bc you can still bleed during pregnancy, but you should go ahead and call your doctor now, and if you cannot get in to see him, he will probably recommend you go to the ER.

You should probably call your doctor N O W. If you have a history of early miscarriages especially.
If you can't get into your doctor, head to the ER.

I WOULD CALL THE DR OFFICE AND TELL THEM NOW WHAT IS GOING ON. IF THEY CANT GET YOU IN NOW GO TO THE HOSPITAL.
