Does anyone know of websites that you can go on and ask opinions about baby names? I know I could always use this site, but I want other sites as well. I've gone to babynamesworld.com but the people on there are awfully mean! They never have ANYTHING good to say..and trust me, I'm not into weird names or anything like that so there's no reason to be mean. So, know any good websites?

I don't know any baby name sites, but www.pregnancyweekly.com is a great info site.

just google baby names. There are a million sites out there. I've found some really great names, and the meaning to those names.
My personal favorite is www.babynamesworld.com.
It even has historical data so you can see the most populat names by year.

When I named my son 4 years ago you could go on www.babycenter.com and make name polls for others to rate the names you are deciding from. They can leave feedback or just pick a name.
You can also join the forum for the month that your baby is due and post about your pregnancy and baby preparations. they are all expecting and just as willing to discuss baby names with you.

Try babynamesgames.com they have lots of great names with a short explanation of the name and if its a good boy name, girl name of both. (It could also be babynamegames.com). You also just type baby names in your Yahoo search engine and see what comes up.

the third link is especially good if you have a certain meaning (if you want to name your baby something that means "beloved", for example) and you're trying to decide on a name. I tried it and it rocked!
I like female names with X's in them, so names like Alexandra or Alexis are very cool to me. Good luck!
