I am 28 weeks pregnant and it seems that alot of times when my son moves my stomach feels really tight-almost like a contraction.Has anyone else felt this way?It hurts at times too.Do you think it is just him moving or a contraction?

I ovulated on the 17th of this month, now my question is...When can I take a pregnancy test and get a positive result? My nipples have been extremely tender since the 22nd of this month and they're never sore before menses which is making me wonder.

I had a D&C done to complete the procedure because my body wouldn't expell the baby on it's own. It's been about 6 weeks or so & I'm still bleeding. But it's not red. It's black with red streaks & really mucusy. (I apologize if this is gross) I had a follow up appointment a week ago. I don't have insurance anymore & it isn't covered under the procedure itself so I didn't go. I know you are going to say "go to the doctors" but has anyone ever had this happen & is it normal after having a D&C?

I started taking the pill after this happened & I am starting my 2nd pack this Sunday. So today is Wednesday on the sugar pills & my real "normal" period didn't even come.

Is it possible that the doctor missed the baby when they tried to take it out? I am going to buy a pregnancy test tomorrow to see if my body still gives the pregnancy hormone.

I am just looking for advice. Thanks girls.

My nine year old son cries often. He has always been a more sensitive person so this isn't a new thing. But, now since he is nine this is getting really embarrasing for him. He cries when he is startled, scared, hurt, feelings hurt, conflict, etc. I feel really bad for him. He cannot seem to turn his feelings off. This would be much easier for him to deal with but the society we live in doesn't accept this type of behavior for males. (sad but true) We do not have any major life events happening. AGAIN, he has always been this way. So I don't think it is any type of sign.
Any advice would be appreciated!

I recently was pregnant, but it didn't work out. I feel so empty without my baby. I was wondering if I should try to have another baby to fill that whole in my heart? Or should I give myslef sometime to get emotionally ready?

My husband and I just found out we are pregnant with numero deux. I think it's too early to start telling people, I wanna wait a while and tell family first, he agrees and we plan on telling everyone Christmas Day.
Now I want some cool ideas on telling them. This is what I'm thinking: there's a beautiful statue of a pregnant woman standing, and the father is knelt on one knee with his ear to the belly. I think it is cute and would like to own it. I wanna buy it and wrap it, and just before we all sit down to christmas dinner, have him give me the present to open in front of everyone...they'll all go ballistic, but this may be my last pregnancy and I wanna make the surprise worthwhile..any ideas/suggestions?
How did you tell your family? Did you do anything special?

Also what about the spelling..Brinley, Brynlee, Brynlie, Brinlee? I wanted to use Abbey as the middle name because it is my mom and step-dads last name ( it would mean a lot to my step dad for he is my "real" dad in my book)

Isn't this the single most selfish thing you ever heard of? It doesn't take the best interest of the child into account at all.

I mean, what 50-year-old is in the mood to do child care round the clock? And, by the time the poor kid graduates High School, Mom is going to be in her 60s.

Who else agrees that this is the height of thoughtless self-indulgence?

he is in the largest size diapers and is only 20 months. He soaks through every night and his bed & clothes need to be changed immediately. We tried limited his drinks after 6pm, we have tried changing him at 11PM to carry him through the night??

I have three wonderful kids, but they lie.They lie about the stupid things. For example. my 13yr old daughter and my 4 yr old son are the worst, my son judt came running out of my daughters room screaming, frantically yelling "she hit me", so i ask her did you hit him "no, he must have ran into the couch"...... So I don't know who to believe, basically this stuff happens between them two all the time, everyday, several times a day.

I have tried asking my six year old what happened and she will lie for which ever one is her friend that day, She was in the bedroom for the recent incident and she claims he ran into the couch also, but she wasn't even in the room were it happened.

So you see my problem. I have tried scaring them to stop, taking stuff from them, putting them in their rooms, I am all out of ideas.Please help, I am sooooo despirate!!!!!!!!!

ok, so my dad had a heartattack on thanksgiving day and he is fine now but every night since i have wet the bed. i am 17! i used to wet the bed but stoped around age 10. any sugestions why it started again and what i should do about it??
