I ovulated on the 17th of this month, now my question is...When can I take a pregnancy test and get a positive result? My nipples have been extremely tender since the 22nd of this month and they're never sore before menses which is making me wonder.

two weeks after your missed period just so your HCG level is high enough to detect. you can try it a few days after your late though, everyone is different. Good luck hon!

IN general 14 days after ovulation. Our bodies can also make false pregnancy symptoms when we are trying or too worried that we are pregnant. Also you can go to the health department for a blood test and it would tell you now since ovulation was around the 17th.

You could most likely test now (Dec 1 would be 14days). Most tests recommend waiting till 14 days past ovulation. However I know that First resopnse picked my pregnancy up 9 days past ovuation (when other national brands did not) and I actually had a low HCG level when the blood test confirmed my pregnancy. Just make sure that you use first morning urine for best results. Good luck

Here is how it works. It takes approximately 6 to 10 days for implantation to occur after fertilization. The body does not begin to produce the hormone HCG until implantation occurs. So if you ovulated on the 17th and you had sex then also then you should take the test around 10 days after that. So if you take it now you should know something.

Ok! This is what I would do! I would wait at least a month after when you think you might be! Then by that time the test should come back clear! If you want to be for sure about it without a doubt go to the doctors and have a blood test done and that way you'll know for sure! sooner!Good Luck!

Sounds like your headed for motherhood. Your nipples are more acurate than a pregnancy test. I would try a test around the 1st or the month, if neg, then wait another 7 days and test again. Good luck, I hope you get the results you want!

You could try one of the early tests, if you haven't missed your period yet...if you don't want to do that you should just wait until a few days after your period should have started. Sore nipples are one of many signs of pregnancy!!! Good luck!!!!

Wait until the day you miss your period and take a test, if that one comes out negative wait a few more days and if you dont start by then take another one and if that one is still negative then go get a blood test done.
