Also what about the spelling..Brinley, Brynlee, Brynlie, Brinlee? I wanted to use Abbey as the middle name because it is my mom and step-dads last name ( it would mean a lot to my step dad for he is my "real" dad in my book)

I love both the names but definitely not together.
I like Brinley spelled like Brynley. Very pretty and feminine.
Abbey is tricky as a middle name....what about:

Ok I think that your step dad is great (I am in the same boat!) And If anything you NEED to keep the Abbey name to honor him! Now yes Brinley Abbey is to many y's but if you like it who cares! right! But if you don't then change the 1st name not the 2nd. Or you could go

Brinley is a nice and unique name. Although I would have it as a middle name; it would still be honouring your step father but at the same time it could be saving your child some teasing at school. Abbey Brinley is a cute name.

Either spelling looks nice to me. Brinley Abbey does kind of rhyme at the end of each name. What about naming her Brinley Abbigail, it could still honor mom & dad?!

Thats not to many Y's , trust me my name starts with a Y and my mom was going Y crazy! My name , her name and my brothers (3) are all Y names! I hate my name!

I don't think it's too many Y's unless you have one in your last name also. Then it would be too many. But otherwise, it's fine. I like the spellings Brinley, or Brynlee, you may also want to consider "leigh", like Brynleigh. I think it makes the name prettier, at least on paper! lol

Brinley Abbey is cute. i don't think that there are too many Y's in it. my daughters name is Ava Yvonne, some people don't like the use of V's in her name but i don't care cuz its what i like. you shouldn't care either as long as you like it. i aslo like the name Bryn Abbey, if flows a little bit better.
