She sounds ready. I like the walker because the can be uprite in the world safely. The good time for a walker is when they can reach the floor and push with their feet.

Just a word of warning. Baby walkers are banned in Canada, the reason is that small children can tumble down stairs, pull hot pots off the stove, pull heavy lamps and things off tables and hit themselves in the head. Fun but you have to be very very careful with these.

Hm I'm not sure if there really is a right age!?!
From my experience with the whole thing!?! I started putting my kids in a walker when they were able to hold there head up on there own! Your child will let you know once in it if there ready for it! let them be the judge! Believe me you'll know if there not ready!

Walkers are banned in Canada.... My daughter started walking at 9 months... she never used one. Get an excersaucer, or a jolly jumper. Your daughter will be able to bounce and explore that way as well as build up her leg muscles.

my son is 6 months old and he uses his walker. he can only go backwards but at least he tries. if you think she is ready get one and try it out, if she isn't at least you tried and will have it when she is. there is really no set age when a baby is ready to do anything they all learn at different paces.

I had put my kids in one when they could sit up on their own. They absolutely love the freedom and the different view.
