I'm 13, my mom is really wonderful but too worried about modesty. I have nice clothes, I always look cute, but I have some friends my age who are allowed to show a bit more of their bodies. One of mom's law is I alwyas have to wear a bra even when it's hot and in Australia its hot. She's inflexible about this, and my bras must give proper coverage and no see through, because she thinks support is important and doesn't want me to be decently dressed. Bras ometimes suck. Sometimes I complain, tell her some of my friends mom's are less strict about their bras but mom just say something like Maybe hun, Im' your mom, love you, worry about you and that's how it's gonna be at least while you're under my roof. I know it's out of love, I don't fight, don't disobey and of course I won't leave home because of this, but isn't she too strict?

Baby girl on the way who will be named Elena (like it or not) and I am really having a hard time with the middle name. Just looking for reasonable suggestions. Last initial is G. We thought about Elena Grace, but giving her the initials "EGG" seems mean.

i'm 36 weeks pregnant, and i'm having contractions, and what feels like the baby balling up. The contractions are starting in the upper part of my abdomen and moving down as they go on. I haven't started counting them, bc they dont feel like they're regular, but they definitely hurt, and feel like they're getting stronger.
the baby seems to be balling up. it seems like when i have a contraction, she moves more, and it feels like shes curling into a ball. i dont know if its contractions that can make it feel that way, or if she really is doing it.
what does it mean when you're baby balls up at 36 weeks?
i've read that labor can accompanied by diarrhea and nasuea, and i was sick all day yesterday. i figured i just had a stomach bug, but then last night, i started having contractions. i'm not getting sick any more, but i still feel nauseous.
i dont have any bloody show, and my water hasnt broke, but could this be early labor??

I have a newborn and an almost-3-year-old. What would be a good double stroller for this age range?

My mom says that when I go into labor that she is going to be drinkng at the bar and will come to the hospital after the baby is born. She says that I will be too cranky during labor and she will slap me if I snap at her. I say that she snapped at me when I she was in labor w/ my sister. To make a long story short I told her that if she won't be in the delivery room she doesn't need to show up at all and if she does she will not be permitted to see me or the baby. I feel what kind of mother is she to be getting drunk while her daughter is giving birth? Am I wrong?

A girl in my class invited me to her birthday party. We get along and I think we could become good friends. My dilemma is, she is new to this school, so i dont know her very well. As a result, I don't know what to give her. I asked her and she said "I don't care, whatever is fine, as long a my friends are there" which doesn;t really answer my question. SO I was thinking i should give her some money and some candy (gift cards won't work because 1. we live in Italy and do not speak Italian 2. I do not know where she likes to shop) Do you think this is to impersonal? how much is appropriate (she is 12 turning 13, I am 14)

convince him to want to keep the baby, or just hit the reality of this situation, or even make him feel bad to want me to get an abortion?

My girlfriend is late about one day, maybe two. Her cycle comes at the end of the month, but never at the beginning. It hasn't come yet. We recently had sex for the first time. We have been talking about, and stressing about the chance of pregnancy. But not insanely. But she seems so worried when the subject arises.

We had safe sex. A condom was used. Nothing broke. And no ejaculation took place inside her. We had sex three times.

When should we worry about pregnancy? It seem so unlikely, but we feel deep down that just our luck, it's late, after our first time. Maybe we're that one in a thousand...

She has an appointment for the pill tomorrow, so I'm assuming they'll test her.

I just need a piece of mind.......

My son's father has not had any contact with me since I was 4 months pregnate, by his own choice. He has no idea when my son was born or even what his name is. He is not even on the birth certificate because state law mandates that the father be present to have his name on the birth certificate. I would like to patition the courts for formal custody, just in case his father ever decides to track me down. But I am not 100% sure he is the father and I know the courts will want a fathers name and they will seek a paturnity test if I am not positive on who the father is. My major problem is the other possible father know the man who I'm pretty sure is my son's father. I was in contact with him awhile back but he made no effort to help pay for a paturnity test and didn't want to see my son unless he knew for sure that he was the father. SO how do I get formal custody from the courts without the potencial daddies finding out. #1 is a druggie and alcoholic #2 is a good guy and a great father.

Ive known my current babies father for 10 years. Hes been in and out of jail and everytime I have took him back. Now that I have been pregnant he calls less and makes a whole lot less of an effort. Would It be wrong for me to not make an effort and keep him out of our lives. I feel like if he really wanted this family he could have it but my patience are running low and Im at my breaking point. This isnt a time to be along yet here I am with many questions and no answers. My family isnt very supportive about this pregnantcy but abortion isnt an option. God never gives us what we cant handle!

I have been really stressed out now that I am pregnant with my 2nd child only being 21.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and cannot seem to get enough to drink.. I drink at least 2-3 liters of water a day. Does this sound right? Should I still have a dry mouth? I also crave ice. I could sit and eat ice all the time. Anyone else with the same feelings?

I am 26 years old and the father of my baby is 38. He has no children , what is the chance of us having a normal healthy child ? He doesn't drink or smoke and he takes very good care of himself. Should everything be ok with our child ?

I'm pretty sure if my baby is a girl we will be calling her Audrey. We currently live in the UK and a lot of people over here see it as a "lunch lady's name". We hopefully will be moving back to the US within the next few years, so that doesn't break the name for me, but I was wondering what others thought of the name. Thanks

PS- Audra is out of the question, this is for opinions on Audrey. Thanks again.

I've been pumping and storing my breastmilk as I have to leave my little one for a couple of days for business. I've started to notice color variences from pump to pump, or day to day. How can you tell if frozen breastmilk has gone sour/bad?
