Use ear candles. You can pick them up at a GNC or call any kind of spas around you to see if they sell them (you can always buy them online) all you do is put the ear candle in the ear and hold it firm around the ear so no smoke comes from the bottom light the top of the ear candle and let it burn down 3/4's of the way. Cover your sons head and face with a towel so he is protected, and have a wet towel next to you to put the ear candle out when you are done. When you do this he needs to be either laying on his side or sitting some where with his head tilted to the side so the candle stands upright. This should help your son out quite a bit.

give him asprin, ibuprofin or some pain killer. I had an ear infection and it hurt terribly and nobody could drive me to the doctors and that stuff really helped. But you should take him to the doctors cuz they help. Also let him stay home from school and sleep for a day or two because it's hard to focus when your ear is throbbing in pain.

There are no real home remedies for this please take him to the doctor or emergency room as soon as possible. I had an ear infection when I was that age and it went untreated. As a result of this I had to have a tumor removed and am now totally deaf in that ear.

Best remedy is to visit the GP - they can look into the ear and see what's happening. Home remedies may do more harm than good (especially ones thats placed in the ear). You may end up damaging the ear drum.

Best thing is take child to doctor. When we were unemployed, my wife would heat up a bit of virgin olive oil in the microwave to just warm, and put a few drops in affected ear. Somthing in the olive oil draws out the infection. Just don't get it too hot. OUCH!

If its an infection he needs an antibiotic to get rid of it. take him to the doctor or it could get much worse if left untreated. There are no home remedies for infections.
