i am pregnant. i already have 3 sons. i have told my husband, but if i tell my sons. i dont know if they are going to be happy. because they are already having trouble with grades. and i dont want to pressure them even more. When do you think would be the right time to tell them ?

hey please help me , c its about his friend i have, well she is pregnet and she is only 12 and "HAD IT" with this 17 year old guy, so now she is asking for my help and i just dont know what to do, i did go out with this guy once but i am 14 and we did nothing bad! I asked my doctor at my last appointment. And she told me that it's possible to check urself to see if ur dilating...she told me the ovious things wash ur hands wear gloves bla bla...now im not just doing this for the hell of it. I have been having contractions very very strong off and on for a while so its helpful for me. the thing is im not sure what to look for...i would exspect to feel a slit if i was dilating? is that right? And one more thing..sry if this is too much info, but what would a slightly hard thing that is rounded and can be slightly pushed back be? thats not the head is it??? or if that just my cervix?

ok so im almost 2 months pregnant and ive been thinking of a elective c-section... for many reasons but #1 is cuz my mother had so many problems with her childbearing and actully all my family has so i just dont want to go thru that ( im not sure if i could even handle it mentally) and im really just asking for the positives and negatives of elective c-sections... plz and thank u for all ur help

I have an 8, almost 9 year old daughter. She has recently started talking back and arguing. Unfortunatly, I do not know how to punish her. She doesn't watch much tv, or play any video games. She doesn't have any friends to play with in the neighborhood (she goes to private school). I don't have anything to "take away" from her as punishment. I need suggestions of ways that I can punish her for her bad behavior.

Please keep in mind, I do not in any way want to make her feel put down or unloved. I am a christian, and do not believe in putting down my kids and making them feel devalued.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated - If it is a good plan, Include how to do it.

In mid December I'm expecting a boy who's first name will be Trent. My husband and I are having trouble picking a middle name though. I asked before but in wrong place. I am youngest in my family and I have like the worst sister in the world i think sometimes!!! Shes 15 and im 12 and she is such a brat to me!!! always shes picking on me and making fun of me 2 her friends and i really hate that!! Shes prettier and gets better grades and always acts like shes so perfect and knows she so much better then me. If i do something wrong she will tell on me and i will get yelled at or punished or spanked and she think that is sooooo funny!! She laugh and call me a baby and a brat when i cry about things like if my crush is mean to me or if im upset with things or if i get a spanking. I know that stress in the first trimester is said (by some) to contribute to miscarriage-what about stress in the second trimester?

I'm 20wks preg and completely overwhelmed at work. My hours are insane and i am so stressed by the workload i want to burst into tears. Its a mentally demanding job (Financial & Equity Accountant) and i've always been up to the challenge - even if it meant working 18hrs a day plus weekends. But these days i just can't. They are aware of the fact that i am pregnant but we have just completed 5 major deals which doesn't leave any space for consideration with the fact that i am pregnant - my work load is increasing not decreasing.

I've been experiencing little sharp twinges in my belly lately - i don't know whether its related or not - more discomfort than pain.
I can't give up work yet but on top of the work-load i am worried about how my high stress levels could affect baby.

Does anyone know how or if stress affects baby at this stage of pregnancy?

I had my period on November 15 and I know you are suppose to count 14 days from day one and thats the day you are most fertile. Well, I had a wet feeling down their on monday..and as soon as I got home I had sex with my partner. I had sex as well on tuesday and it was reallyyy wet down their but it was white and sticky kind of. I also had a pain on the left side in my abdomen while standing in the line at Taco Bell lol. I have been experiencing alot of gas(before I had taco bell). Today is weds..and im sooooo tired and I have been noticing I am sweating or have been sweating when I wake up. Was I ovulating..or have I already ovulated? Did I have sex at the right time? Can any women give me advice. (please no rude comments)
