I wouldnt mind jumpstarting this delivery, just want to know if its safe for the baby.

If your OB has given you no restrictions, you can have sex all you like even if you've begun dilating. The absolute stopping point is if your water breaks. After your water breaks, sex could lead to infection which wouldn't be good for anyone!
I was dilated to 1 cm for a few weeks towards the end of pregnancy and it didn't stop us!

Its perfectly safe for the baby but I wouldn't have crazy wild porno style sex. Maybe just a little slow love making. And yes you may induce your labor in doing so. I know I'm not but 28 weeks and 1 day and I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore. I'm just ready to get the painful part over with.

It is safe to have sex until your water breaks. Sex doesn't make your water break. When your water breaks, it's time and you're good to go!
I've read cases where women were in pain during labor and the doctor told their husbands to have sex with them to relieve pain until the doctor came.

Actually it would be better not to have sex, only because you could be introducing bacteria into your body and you may get some type of infection and this is because you cervix has already started to open.
So to be on the safe side abstain from sex until after the delivery and you have had your post-partum checkup.

You are perfectly safe to have sex unless you are high risk. My doctor said it was just fine all throughout the pregnancy- I had a very healthy pregnancy, and a super healthy baby! (We also had sex up until the very end :) )

Yes it is safe for you and the baby.
Semen contains prostagladins which can help jump start labor.

from what my doctor said sex is ok during the last few weeks but only if the membranes(water sac) is still intact. also know that it can INDUCE! labor

Yes you go jump on him like he is a horse. After that baby is born then it will be a while before you can. Go enjoy your self, heck it may even put you into labor. Now go get him!!!!!!!

yes, it is safe to have sex unless your water has broken or your doctor has told you not too. it will probaly get your labor started.
