basically nothing much. I had a miscarriage at 3 months and they (twins) where maybe the size of a sea horse.

Don't go by how it LOOKS, go by how it FEELS. I know it's hard to do b/c when you're pregnant you're ALWAYS scared and worried, but your gut can be your best gauge.
If you're having heavy bleeding and/or a lot of cramping, get checked out. If you even have a slight suspicion or concern, get checked out. I've had a miscarriage before, and for the first 16 weeks of my successful pregnancy I was CONSTANTLY on edge. Just remember, don't be ashamed of looking like an idiot to your doctor!! They've seen this thing a THOUSAND times before!!

It varies for individuals, but yes, normally just like a regular period. I just had one at 9 weeks and unfortunately I was able to see a little tiny shape in there and it was just tragic. (Only about 1 inch long, but horrible nonetheless when you're excited about being pregnant). It doesn't matter how early it happens, it's still very upsetting because you know you're pregnant, my condolences if this is what you've just been through......find someone to talk to, it really helps and you will be surprised how many people have been through the same thing.

for me it was "streaking" of blood. started out darkish and then turned bright pinkish red. eventually it was like a very heavy flow. I have had 2 since january. sadly, doctors almost snub their noses at you and offer very little help. if it's happening to you, don't be surprised at the sadness that'll come. talking about it is the best therapy.

That looks almost normal for one of my periods but you should get checked out by a doctor. I am terribly sorry if you are miscarrying.
