Pregnancy & Parenting - 29 November 2006

My daughter was with her brother all day wednesday but i am keeping them apart now as much as possible. She has kinder break up on Monday and want to know if I should send her or keep her home, because i dont wont her to miss it and and i dont even know if she will definately catch it. Read somewhere that you usually dont catch it until 2 weeks later, so if she has no spots on Monday do you think its safe to send her.???/Help

14 years of my life passed by very slowly but now I'm 15 and ever since I started high school it's been passing so quickly and I don't have time to apreciate it because things are going better for me now that they have for a long time, like 4 years. Now that things are better (not great, but better) time is passing so quickly all of the sudden. I feel like the school year just started. Why is this happening?

I am youngest in my family and I have like the worst sister in the world i think sometimes!!! Shes 15 and im 12 and she is such a brat to me!!! always shes picking on me and making fun of me 2 her friends and i really hate that!! Shes prettier and gets better grades and always acts like shes so perfect and knows she so much better then me. If i do something wrong she will tell on me and i will get yelled at or punished or spanked and she think that is sooooo funny!! She laugh and call me a baby when i cry about things like if my crush is mean to me or if im upset with things or if i get a spanking. I know im supposed love her shes my sister but I really get so mad at her i dont know if i love her what should i do??? Will she always be so mean!!???

I have an extremely picky eater-who will actually gag on foods she doesnt want to eat..I've been too lenient and catered to her a bit too much.I'm thinking of starting to send her to bed without dinner if she refuses to eat what she is given.Any opinions,tips or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. When I say picky-I mean there are only 4 or 5 things she will eat and 3 arent healthy meals

My son is one year old and recently his stool is really pasty and frequent, as many as 10 times a day, but very little every time. He is very happy and does not seem to be sick. We are hoping it will go away in days, but it's been almost two weeks now. Any help is greatly appreciated!

My doctor told me last week (I was 37 weeks), that I could go into labor at anytime & that I should also be passing my mucous plug since I am a little more than 1 cm. Well, what I think is my mucous plug is not bloody or even tinged. It looks like thick yellowish discharge. Does anyone know if what I'm experiencing is in fact my mucous plug?? Cause I thought it had to be bloody & very blob-like????? Sorry for the details I'm just really confused

...my one month old baby is always up every hour at night...she always wants to eat even if it isn't time for her to eat...she's fussy and cries all the time...she wants to be held although as much as i wanna do it all the time it gets tiring...when i lay her down she wakes up and i'll start all over again...any tips?

My son is now just over 2 months old. He has grown and is growing so much so quickly. For the last couple of days, he has taken shorter naps... He falls asleep eating, when I take him off he wakes right back up and is still hungry. It's not a production problem! Milk constantly comes out when he's latched...

We are naming our daughter Brooke, and I have a middle name chosen for her too, and My husband keeps saying over an over again that he wants to name her after me, but I feel weird doing that. My name is Heather and he would like to name her

I share custody of my daughter and at her mothers house stepdad takes her stepsisters door down as punishment. This is not his child either and she is 13years old. When asked what J did to get her door down, my daughters says nothing. There is obvious tention between the two and they just fight all the time. Concerned by this I asked my daughter does he do this to you. No because she just can't ever shut her door. Basically an 11year old and 13 year old live with biological mom, Step dad and his two younger children and have NO privacy. Is this abuse?

...i've recently had the unfortunate chance of catching my fifteen year old daughter in the act of mastrub*ting.. several times. yesterday i walked in while she was supposingly doing homework, and instead found her masturb*ting for someone on her webcam. last night i came home earlier than expected, and i heard her moaning in her room, again caught her. this morning she told me she was going out to jog for a while-- while she was out i went to get something out of my car, and realized that she was hiding in the backseat of HER car, masturb*ting! ...i don't know how to bring up the subject to talk to her about it.. i've caught her doing it three times in the past 24hrs! should i talk to her about it? is it normal for her to do it this often? what about the webcam incident?! i don't know who she was doing that for! ..help, please????

i am a single dominican mother living in the projects...my son is 14 in the 10th grade...he constantly cuts class...he failed 4 out of 6 classes...he often gets suspended from school...and i recently found out he smokes marijuana...he says he doesnt care about college and says he isnt goin...he doesnt care about nothing...he says "i dont give a ****"...he steals at the mall with friends...he's just out of control

My daughter was born in August and since then I have been taking the mini pill ( the one for breastfeeding moms so i dont have a period). Well I have stopped breastfeeding, but still taking the pill. My husband and I have had unprotected sex a few times and in the last couple of days i have been feeling very sick in the mornings. I never had morning sickness with my daughter so I dont know if this could be that? Is it to soon to be pregnant and how would i know since the mini pill keeps me from having my period?

The closer I get to 16 weeks the more fear I feel. I lost my son at 16 weeks in Jan. and I thought the closer I got and knowing that everything is looking great would be a relief, but I find myself scared to death and counting down days until I reach that point. I'm 14 weeks and a few days but I can shake the fear of the past repeating itself....shouldn't I be feeling more relieved at every passing day? I also find myself thinking of my son more often and crying more now, I'll never forget him, but I had reached the point where I knew he was in a better place, but now I'm just scared, any suggestions to help ease the fear?
