No not at all. Extremely hot showers are what you should avoid while pregnant. I can't say a cold shower would be very comfortable! Do you have a tub or just a shower stall? If you have a tub, fill it half way with the cold water then start boiling some water on the stove and dump that into the tub to warm it up. That would feel better than a cold shower!!

It is uncomfortable to take a cold shower anyway.
Here is a solution on how your sister can bathe:
boil hot water in a pan and put it in a big bucket. put the big bucket in a tub. Inside the big bucket . put some cold water in it, mix the boiling water and cold water until it is warm temperature/comfortable temperature. Then use a medium size bowl to scoop up the water and pour it on herself to rinse off the shampoo and soap. Keep boiling hot water for her until she is finished with the bath.

OR

have her take a sponge bath. Again boil water. Mix it with cold water until comfortable warm temperature. dip a wash cloth in it and soap. Clean from the face down to her feet. Do not wash her private parts with the cloth.
To wash private parts. Have her sit in the toilet. Take a medium size bowl with warm water and soap. Pour soapy water from front to bottom- vaginal to buttocks. Then wash her hair as she kneels at the bathtub.

Hope this helps!

No I do not think so. To be safe make it a quick cold shower. But then any cold shower I have taken was quick, lol.
