Miscarriage is characterized by bleeding, the passage of bits of tissue (clots), and cramps in the lower abdomen ranging from annoying to painful. However, if you think that you are about to have a miscarriage, you should call 911 - right away!
If clot are not passed, the fetus can sometime be saved. Seventy-five percent of all miscarriages occur in the first three months.
Hope this answers you question!

Im 8 months gone myself - and had spotting when I was about the same as you. I was told dark red or brown could be ok. Some people still have periods during pregnancy. I was told bright red blood or blood with little clots was not good. But it really depends. My best advice is not to worry, as you could get stressed. And you dont want that. Go and see your GP in the morning, or if you cant wait till then, go to your A+E just to be sure. In the meantime, they say rest is a good idea. All the best, hope it goes well for you x x

honey, if you see blood then thats not usually a good sign no matter how many months you are. im speaking from my own personal experience. seeing blood is a sign of miscarriage, but dont give up hope just yet. dont think this is your fault in any way. God allowed this to happen for a reason we may never know. but please do go to the doctor as soon as possible if not for the safety of the baby but for yourself. i'll keep you in my thoughts.

i'm sorry to take heed to that :( miscarriages are no longer common to handle, fairly once you are trying so no longer common to do each and every thing impressive. i've got been there. yet, confident! you will have a healthful, finished-term infant whilst the time is sweet. each and every thing occurs for a reason. solid luck, Sweetie.

In some women it is normal to have some bleeding. Certain women still have their periods while pregnant ..... but talk to your doctor to make sure everything is okay.

It may be, but it can also be normal to spot during pregnancy. Call your doctor and ask questions there. Good luck.
