14 years of my life passed by very slowly but now I'm 15 and ever since I started high school it's been passing so quickly and I don't have time to apreciate it because things are going better for me now that they have for a long time, like 4 years. Now that things are better (not great, but better) time is passing so quickly all of the sudden. I feel like the school year just started. Why is this happening?

Time does always move at the same speed, of course, even though as you get older it seems to move quicker. And, as you've discovered, when things are dull/bad time seems to drag on. And when things are good/exciting, time seems to move quickly.

There's nothing you can do about time, but there IS something you can do re: the savoring part.

Stop each day and reflect/remember some of the best parts of the day. Consider a journal or starting a scrapbook or another momento that would help you to "live"/re-live (ie savor) the moments a bit. Get a digital camera and create digital photo albums, or find other ways to help make some of the memories more tangible.

Be very thankful for everything you have, and soak it all in everyday. Really be aware.

Or, as I tell brides heading off to their weddings ... "Remember to remember." If you don't stop and smell the roses, reflect on the big (and little) moments, it'll all rush by in such a blur you will barely feel like you experienced it.

Be sure to treasure your family and your friends. They won't always be around and available to you.

Easy, you're enjoying life! Time pass slowly when your upset, bored, etc and very quickly when your having a good time.

Why do you think 6 hours of school passes really slowly while 4 hours out with your friends feels like 1/2 hour?

This is completely normal. When we are having a good time - time speeds up. You will find that the more you enjoy your time the faster it will go. You cant escape it - so enjoy it! Sorry to tell you this but as you get older it gets faster and faster! But hey, so what! The aternative is for the time to drag and for you to be completely unhappy and bored. Just take it easy and go with the flow!

Because your having a good time. Don't worry about this. There is plenty other thing that will get you worried. If right now things are faring fine don't try to control everything to keep this the way it is. Just sit back and enjouy the plesent ride!

Time waits for no one.

The older you get the faster time goes - because your prepestive is broader. When you are 5 your whole life revolved around 5 years. Now your WHOLE life is 14 - - -wait till you are 40....

Michael - i'm getting the sensation that nicole does not desire her tale to be while in comparison with Twilight, subsequently why she wrote the disclaimer on the commencing up. no longer each and every physique's a Twilight "concept stealer" or "fangirl". Nicole - i like this, it is totally descriptive and seems "actual", to me, this is a robust element in a narrative. i think of this line sounds basically slightly awkward - "pouted my lips because of the fact the annoyance back to my abdomen." I basically got here across "annoyance" slightly out of place with something of the sentence - according to hazard substitute it for "inflammation" or another synonym? aside from that, I enjoyed analyzing this - you used some fairly large descriptive words while Dominique began to drink Joshua's blood, and crafted the sentences nicely, for my area.

try to just live in the moment. Don't fret how quickly they pass, just enjoy them. Time is very subjective.
