she's probably already breaking out. let her catch them now...why deal with it later. ask your doctor about school. i know they're not catchy once they scab.

i do no longer opt to confuse u, yet it is the least complicated answer i'd desire to provide: definite, a individual who hasn't had rooster pox previously would desire to seize it by using direct-close touch from the contaminated individual. because of the fact you may get it by using droplet an infection--- which skill if the contaminated individual coughs or sneezes close to you. the guy is considered infectious from the time the 1st rash looks, until the final scab falls. Medically, they say 10 to fourteen days. yet own journey instructed me to circulate by using the signs and indications (the rash and scabs) fairly than the style of days (in case you quite intend to make certain). it is likewise extra dificult for an grownup to have rooster pox, because of the fact the scars are complicated to vanish, unlike toddlers whose pores and skin are extra in all probability to regenerate speedier then adults do. And extra so for adult males because of the fact it does reason infertility too. that's why once I heared my buddy's son have been given the virus, I enable my 2 a million/2 daughter seize it too.(I enable her play with my buddy's son for the completed day!). That way, i don't have my daughter hectic later in her existence of catching it as an grownup and getting scars that would no longer be rid of.

I would keep her home.... it is best for her to be around it..... if not then when she is an adult, there are far worse complications..... as long as she gets it now, she'll never get it again... also when I was a kid my 2 brothers and I had it together.... when each came down sick about 3-4 days after the other one........... good luck... it will be rough!!!!!!! stock up on calamine and benedryl. And she has already been affected I'm sure.... also it is passed through the air... go to web md... they will tell you that.

its safe to send her if she is feeling well!
chicken pox is common, it is better for children to be exposed to it in early childhood as at that time it is a milder disease
a note on the vaccine its only about 60% effective and not approved for use in canada, even if she has had the shot she will most likely get the pox (not much you can do she would already have been exposed)

If your son was running a fever while your daughter was around them she will more than likely get them. You don't have to keep her home unless she is running a fever or is broke out with spots. Give her a nice warm bath this usually will bring them out. If not send her.

if she hasn't caught the chicken pox.. you might as well let her catch it.. so you can stay home and take care of both of them. Kill two birds with one stone.
Chicken pox is really contagious. So it will show up in like maybe couple of days.

From my sister and I's experience....unless they dont ever touch she's getting it. And we got it just a few days apart...and then a day later my dad got it since he'd never had them before. So I think the 2 week thing is an urban legend or something. Hope you guys do ok! I reccommend aveeno oatmeal baths.

You are supposed to make all the children in the house catch it at the same time. If you wait, she may not get it till she is an adult, which sometimes turns deadly. Is called the shingles when you are an adult, and really hurts.

SOME PPL WILL SAY TO LET HER GET IT AND GET OVER IT.....SOME WILL SAY KEEP HER AWAY SO SHE DON'T GET IT.
BUT IF AN ADULT CATHCES CHICKEN POX......ITS 10 TIMES WORSE, WITH THE FEVER AND EVERYTHING.
YES SHE IS SAFE TO SEND HER AS LONG AS SHE ISN'T RUNNING A FEVER OF ANY KIND, IF SHE STARTS TO RUN THE SMALLEST FEVER, I'D KEEP HER AT HOME, LET HER FINISH HER RUN WITH THE CHICKEN POX....IT SUCKS, BUT YOU GOT TO DO WHAT YOU GOT TO DO.

Can I send my younger daughter over to play? She hasn't had them and I'd rather get them out of the way while she is still a toddler. Her sister had them at 1 year old. I'd rather she get them than vaccinate.

I work at a daycare and I would say even tho she won't break out for two weeks she can still have them now and spread the virus we have recently had a breakout of chickenpox at my center and if you even think she may have it I'd keep her home.
