My daughter was born in August and since then I have been taking the mini pill ( the one for breastfeeding moms so i dont have a period). Well I have stopped breastfeeding, but still taking the pill. My husband and I have had unprotected sex a few times and in the last couple of days i have been feeling very sick in the mornings. I never had morning sickness with my daughter so I dont know if this could be that? Is it to soon to be pregnant and how would i know since the mini pill keeps me from having my period?

It isn't too soon to be pregnant. If you just stopped breastfeeding you should stop taking the mini pill and start are real one. The mini pill only works because of the breastfeeding. I would take a test. Also remember that as soon as you stop breastfeeding you don't have that as additional protection. Good luck.

The mini pill does not stop you from having your period...you can stay on the mini pill for a while...you just have to be vigilant that you take it at the same time every day.

If you have sex (protected or not), you have a chance. Birth control fails! The only thing you can do it test.......or better yet...have your OB order a blood test.
