I believe its all in the approach, you know what type of parents you have, and if you cant talk to them, its always best to get a mediator to do so to avoid any danger to you

I was 17 when I got pregnant with my daughter who is now 9. I sat my parents down and came right out and told them I was pregnant. I answered whatever questions they had the best I could. They wanted me to have am abortion. Went as far as making the appointment for me. They were very upset when I told them i wasn't having the abortion but as soon as Hayley was born.. they fell in love and have been so wonderful to me and her since. I doubt they will try to hurt you and if they do, you need to contact the police. I'm sure they will be disappointed and scared for you as they should be. The next couple years aren't gonna be easy, but with their help you can make it through. Good Luck and Take Care.

You are already pregnant so you need to take a deep breath and sit them down and lay it out to them. Get serious and call a family meeting with them. I had to break my first pregnancy as a teen to my parents, but my mom got angry because I couldn't stop giggling. So, be serious and firm, letting them know that you are pregnant and inform them on what decision you've made as far as the baby goes. If you are still involved with the father of the baby; ask him to be there with you when you break it to your parents.....Good Luck; Congrats.........and PLEASE learn form this experience.

Well I have been in this situation before. The best thing to do is get both of them together and sit them down and tell them. Honesty is really the best thing. They will be upset at first, but they will get over it. Everyone make mistakes.

First off....How old are you? If they really love you and care about you they will accept what you have to tell them. Good luck! Are you excited. Is the baby's daddy still around?
