Pills protect you everyday. all day, as long as you take them and don't miss doses. Yes, there are inactive pills that don't matter but your protection in ongoing as long as the active pills were taken on time. It is a cumalative affect of taking the medication, not a time-frame from a specific dose.

Yes! Your inactive pills lack the hormones that your active pills have.(Hints INactive pills!) So be careful and use another method of Birth Control during this time, especially because it's the first couple of days before your period and your extremely fertile.

if you take your pills like your supposed to every day and not miss any and you use all the necessary precautions i think you will be ok but if you missed some and you werent careful during intercourse then yes you can get pregnant and if you are scared you are and your late go to a planned parenthood or go get one of those early pregnancy tests and find out

my sister became pregnant with both of her children... yes there is that possibility. like if they have a vasectomy, you can still become pregnant. you just gave the sperm an obstacle course to go through before reaching the egg.
