I can't really have any say on this because my name IS Audrey, so that would be biased, but I'll try my best. I asked MY parents why they called me Audrey, and they say that they both liked it, AND they don't think that is can be shortened. This is kinda wrong because you CAN shorten it, and give nicknames. My friends sometimes call me Audretta or Audrette or just simply Aud. I don't really mind, and I guess I'm also kinda glad that Audrey isn't a massively common name in England, and I'm sure in America too. A final teason why I'm called Audrey is because when I was born, my mum literally looked at me and said "That's an Audrey!" Literally. They were trying to decide between Louise and Audrey.
So I guess that the name Audrey could reflect on your personality, if certain people just happen to LOOK like 'Audreys'.
Unlike most other kids, I've never wanted to change my name, and I am very happy with it.

I like it. My friend's 12 year old niece is named Audrey, but she also makes the "Odd Audrey" connection. That's something you might want to think about.

It is a nice name and I think of Audrey Hepburn too but its overused.
All I can this of is "odd" when I say the name which makes me afraid people will give her a nasty nickname like Odd or Oddie (Aud or Audi).
It is your child though and you will have to explain why you chose the name you did so make it a good reason and a name you and the child can live with.
