ok so i went to sleep at about 1:30 woke up to go pee about 15 to 20 mins later... i felt dizzy on the way to the bathroom and back to bed but i didnt think any thing of it and went back to sleep. i woke up again about 2:30 went to the bathroom, i had slight diarreha and extreem dizzyness. i went to lay down and it just got worse, i layed there for about 45 mins and it didnt go away. i threw up about 20 mins after that. i also had a panic attick. the dizzyness started to go away after i stayed up for a little bit more so i tryed to lay down again but i got the extreem dizzyness back and ended up trowing up again... im 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant.. im not having any contraction. i just was wondering what this might be. and whats wrong with me. im so tired and i really want to go to sleep but i cant lay down. =[

i always lay on my side... and i go to the doc monday... i cant talk to my doc til then.

its now 8 am and i still feel really dizzy and cannot sleep.

-thanks

People have been telling me that its a very high chance that I will end up having my twins by C-Section as most twins are born this way. Is this true because Im absolutely terrified of this and can't stop thinking about it now. has anyone had a C-section? whats it like?

Any info appreciated.

I just found out I'm having a girl. My husband and I originally said if it was a girl, we'd name her Angelina because it is his grandmother's name, and it reminds me of my grandmother because she always used to play Louis Prima albums. However, we've changed our minds because it's become so popular, and I always wanted my child to have a name of her own that wasn't shared with 1 or 2 other kids in her class. We like Italian names, but now we're stuck. We've come up with Marlena, Magdalena, Rosabella, and some others, but we're still just in the brainstorming stage.

Is it true that if you are having a boy the morning sickness isn't as bad? When I was pregnant with my girls I had severe morning sickness all day everyday!

Ok i am only 5 weeks pregnant and lately i will feel a strange pressure in my vaginal area, it usally only last a minute or so when it happens. It occurs maybe 2-3 times a day. It is not in any way painful. I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this pressure or weirdness when they were in early pregnancy?!

I am peeing a lot more at night but it seems normal during the day, so could this be a pregnancy sign even though it is not all day long?

I have a son who was adopted by a very loving family and we chose open adoption. This has worked out really well and when the child is old enough they will tell him all about me and the adoption. They adopted before and the situation has worked out really well with the other adoption. Someone I have been seeing told me lastnight that I should stop all contact with them because it will mess the child up mentally. I'm just wondering what do others think about open v closed adoption ?

She is 18 and does not live with us because she moved out after we refused to accept her dropping out of high school. She will call or come around when she needs something, but other than that, she is jumping from relative to older friends to relatives homes. It's so disappointing and sad. The bio mom is not concerned with her behavior. Anyway, back to my question - What should we get her for Christmas? My friend suggested a certificate for the cost of her taking her GED, but I want other responses.

What causes the maternal instinct in some woman but not in others when they have a children. What makes the love of a mother so pure and unselfish towards her children? My questions comes from teh way jsut looking at my children makes me feel. I cannot understand how someone could ever hurt a child esp their own. Any oppions welcome, well not rude comments.

My name is Berchmans and I have a son with sensory integration disorder and ASD. I am concerned about his nutrition as he is extremely picky and will eat very few foods. I am interested in any suggestions about what I can do to improve his eating habits. He will be 3 in november.

First I would like to say that I think we are living in very sad days.
I have visited my sons school twice in ref. to the incident where my son said the word "nipple" while in line at school (please refer to my previous resolved quest. under "is nipple considered a bad word?". Before I continue, please understand that I in no way condone the use of foul lang. in or outside of my home. I also do not condone mischevious behavior, however I do understand that children will test many boundaries as they mature.
I recently set up an appt. to meet with my son's teacher & upon arriving a bit late due to transport issues ( I called to inform her) she greeted me in a very cold and callous manner & boldly stated that she would not meet w/ me at all. I stood my ground & faught for my 5 min. Needless to say, the meeting was like a weak rendition of "When Hell Was In Session" as she would not talk about the issue without the principal so that she may cover herself.
What is this? A cover up?

My best friend MADE my twins a crocheted blanket & scrapbooks for each of them. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do that, but I'd still like to get her something a little more "sentimental" or "personal" (my sister & I already bought her a swing). She is having a boy & the shower is next weekend. Any ideas? Thanks!

I am 33 1/2 weeks preg and noticed today a small amt of whiteish/slightly yellow tinged mucous when I used the restroom. It kind of looked like a snotty/runny bugar... ( I know GROSS!) Could it be my mucous plug? There wasn't a lot but enough to notice. When should I call my OB? This is my first preg and everything has gone perfectly so far so I dont want to worry for no reason...

My son is 6 months old, and we couldn't ask for more.....except for a little more sleep. He does better than when he was first born (when I was only getting 2 or 3 hours a night), but still I'm lucky to get 6 hours of sleep total (not all at once) I'm really tired, and I feel like I never get a break (my husband can't seem to get him back to sleep if he gets up with him) When do baby's start sleeping??
