I am 33 1/2 weeks preg and noticed today a small amt of whiteish/slightly yellow tinged mucous when I used the restroom. It kind of looked like a snotty/runny bugar... ( I know GROSS!) Could it be my mucous plug? There wasn't a lot but enough to notice. When should I call my OB? This is my first preg and everything has gone perfectly so far so I dont want to worry for no reason...

Also, these last 2 weeks I have noticed that my pelvis seems sore like it is loosening up... Does this mean I am getting ready to deliver????

It may be a piece of your plug, however your plug is waaaaay bigger than you imagine... like seriously the size of your fist.

So *I* wouldn't worry. If you are worried I think it could wait til your next appointment and you could ask for a internal exam to see how far you have dilated.

However, if that little voice inside you says something is wrong. Or you experience cramps 5 min or less apart, or any cramping accompanied by bleeding, or a gush or water, do go to the ER immediately (or your call your OB if they are available)

However in all likely hood you will be fine. Things do tend to loosen up towards the end. You may want to consider a chiropractor to keep things properly aligned for your health and optimal foetal positioning which will lead to a quicker delivery. Yes, let your Dr. know. That way you can have peace of mind. Talking to your Dr. will help you know what signs to look for also. Just ask them.
