ahhh, the very painful charlie horses, I remember them well, because they hurt like hell and there isn't anything you can really do about it other than massaging your leg over and over again. Relax and stay off your feet for a while eventually it will quit hurting, but I'm not going to tell you it won't happen again. Pregnancy is the hard part, fortunatly, you don't have much longer and it will all be over with.

The "relaxin" hormone causes all the joints in your body to relax (and some other bits like the closure at the top of your stomach which may cause heartburn).

For the pain: soak it in water, keep it wrapped if you can, and tylenol. Be very careful as it may go out again.

I could be the baby pressing up against a nerve. It could be something else. Your best bet would be to contact your physician and let them know what is going on. Pregnancy can cause alot of changes in the body and ignoring one that seems to be painful, could be very damaging to your health and that of your unborn child.

you need to drink more water that will help. also do you have a diaper? if you do wet the clean diaper and put it in the micorwave for about 15-30 seconds. instant heating pad. place it on the sore spot that should help with the ache. good luck and feel better.

Eat a bananna (you need potassium) and it will stop! Very common in late pregnacy!
