Pregnancy & Parenting - 19 November 2006

Hi, I never had a early ultrasound so my doctor gave me a due date but it could be off 2 weeks to a month. I just had my ultrasound and found out it was a girl. My question is what are some good websites to compare my pics to? That way i can see what other pics look like at this stage. Thanks! here is a pic of the baby's profile if it helps!

She freaks out when we put clothes on her and says they are too tight, she frreaks out when we put her in her car seat and says that is too tight. She will not eat hardly anything, she freaks out and DEMANDS that I (her father) lay with her at nap time until she falls asleep. She is VERY BOSSY! VERY WHINNY! She makes her mother cry from frustration nearly daily. She does not respond to spanking AT ALL. Nor has any other form of disipline seemed to help with these frustrating moments. She can be very hateful telling us to leave and that she does not love us or need us and then when we leave she crys that we left her. She says that she will be a good girl all the time but never changes how she acts. It is as if she feels no pain even with a hard spanking. She will continue the whinning and the demanding, bossing attitude that got her spanked to begin with. We have become very reactional, and we do not like it. She has a 1 yr. old sister who is a joy, but we fear she will pick up on this.

my grandson is running temp 100.3 I do not know whta could be the cause...he keeps falling asleep and when i administerer /his mom administers he throws up..

My son is 3 months and we are taking a 12 hour flight to oregan and back for thanksgiving. ( wich is a big weather change from florida...) What do i do for his ears not to pop and any advice on what to bring or do so he isnt too restless???Thanks....

Anybody elses' belly button poking out some already? It's weird because at first it was just the top of it but it's starting to almost even out with my belly. I had an inny so I was just wondering if this means it will poke out a lot later on and if anyone else was like me.

An Indianapolis mother made her 9 or 10 year old son stand on a busy downtown intersection wearing a sign around his neck saying, "I was disrespective to my parents and to my school teacher.? She told him if he did it again she'd make him wear the same sign, but on Monument Circle, the center and really busy part of downtown Indianapolis, She stood with him while he wore the sign. There is a group of guys that wear blue coveralls and they sing great little songs that give messages like manners or growing up or helping. There is a song they sing about sleeping in their own bed at night. For those kids that seem to get scared and sneak into their parents bed in the middle of the night. I think it is called, "I love my mommy, I love my daddy". Part of the song has "and now I'm sleeping in my bed at night". Anyway, I'm trying to get the words to the song but I can't remember what the name of the group of guys is. I was able to get the words to another song I heard on Playhouse Disney that another guy sings. The guy with the crazy hair. So I thought if I could just figure out what the name of the group was, I could get the words to the song. Anyone else's kids watch Playhouse Disney enough that you can remember what these guys are called?
They are usually just played between other shows like "Dan Zane's House Party", and Choo Choo Soul. Song breaks.

I think I'm between 4-6 weeks pregnant, and I'm having the normal pelvic cramping, but I'm also getting pains in my sides. The pains switch from side to side. They are not consistant, but like quick little shooting pains every now and then. Is this normal?? I don't see an OBGYN untill Tues afternoon.

since midnight his fever has been between 101.5 & 102.5 i give him tylenol then he seems to be okay.i know tonight it will be even worse(always worse at night,better during the day!!)does anyone have anything like suggestions/tricks/home remedies to bring the fever down or make him more comfortable so he can sleep better?

I had my vasectomy back in 1987, when I was 21. I have no children (planned it that way). In 1993 a woman put my name on the birth certificate of her son. Needless to say, she attempted to score some child support. I know two others this sort of thing has happened to. Do you have a story?

My wife got her last period on oct 13th. She is on a 33 day cycle. So she was supposed to have gotten her next period on nov 15th. We had sex on oct 20th and oce 28th. I wore a condom both times and I'm almost positive they didn't break. (We checked afterwards to confirm.)She ovulated normally and was getting all the symptoms of her period. She took a pregnancy test on nov 16th and nov 18th and they both came back negative. (we used E.P.T.) Now she is starting to get a mucusy-discharge from her vagina. My husband belives in using spanking when our boys misbehaive or are disrespectful in a more serious way. The boys are my husbands but i adopted them legaly when we got married. My 9 year old hit me today and my husband wanted to spank him but i stoped him. We disagree on this method. Although our son is a strong willed child i think we should insist with groundings and bannings, taking priviledges away. Do you think that considering my husband is the biological parent i should let him have the final decision and not interfer ?
