I think I'm between 4-6 weeks pregnant, and I'm having the normal pelvic cramping, but I'm also getting pains in my sides. The pains switch from side to side. They are not consistant, but like quick little shooting pains every now and then. Is this normal?? I don't see an OBGYN untill Tues afternoon.

I get hte same things, especially when i turn quickly. I talk to my OB about it and its jsut normal. Your uterus is growing, and making more room for your baby.

YES! I had a lot of this. It's most likely your ovaries, sometimes they react to the hormones. I had it in both pregnancies. In fact, it's how I found out I'm pregnant. Moving from side to side is a good thing, because one-sided pain is a sign of ectopic pregnancy.

It could also be your uterus growing or round ligament pain.

I get them all the time. Your muscles are having to do a lot of work especially when it is your first pregnancy. I got worried about it and my nurse said "Hun, your pregnant." We both cracked up laughing. Then she explained to me it's just muscles. They hurt sometimes but just think, 8 months from now you'll have a lot more to deal with pain. But you'll get a beautiful baby in return.

Cramping is punctiliously well-known. Your uterus is going to augment from the length of an apple to the length of a watermelon, there is sure to be some soreness in touch =) If cramping is accompainied by the different indications like bleeding or a hurry of fluid, then you favor to the contact your OB.

Pregnancy brings on loads of aches and pains. Try to relax...your body is going through some major changes and its going to take time for the body to settle down with whats happening.

THey are annoying and feel almost like you pulled something Which happends that you kinda ARE pulling something :)

Ligaments are streching and your body is changing and Things are MOVING around to make room for baby.

They get worse in some cases :)
Wait till you get them in your crotch!!! :)
