Yes, your new "timer" will definately be a full-on outie by the end of your pregnancy, no worries though- it should return to it's normal status as an innie shortly after you deliver. Mine did both times and I had an inny for every other bit of my life. When you are prego your abdomen is what pushes your belly button out. I suggest you don't play with it, towards the end of my first pregnancy I used a bandaid to push it flat against my belly when I was wearing a t-shirt. (actually anything harsher than satin... I was sensitive) There isn't much you can do about it, either show it off, or cover it with clothing. I did read somewhere that you should have your doc take a peek at it when you go in for your check-ups to make sure you aren't getting a hernia though.
Best wishes for a healthy baby and smooth delivery.
I added a great link under here with a doctors explination on everything, don't let the plastic surgery link portion fool you.

It is very normal, especially if you are thin, your belly button will poke out a whole lot more by the time you are 9 months pregnant, so much so that it might show though your clothes, it will go back to an inny as soon as you deliver. The thinner you are before pregnancy the more likely the belly buton will poke out, people that are a little heavier don't usually poke out until 7-8 months if at all.

Everyone's pregnancy is different. Mine didn't pop out at all and I've had friends whose done the same as yours. If your are super worried I would call your OB/GYN and either talk to him/her or the nurse practitioner on the phone or make an appointment and talk to them in person. But it's really nothing to be worried about.
Congrats!

It's normal to pop out. You're probably a very thin person for it to be popping out already, and yes, it probably will pop out even more. It will go back to normal after the baby's born.

My navel popped out. I thought it would because it did what you are describing but it didn't. It just stayed like that and went back in later.
