It sounds like the beginning of the flu. If it's the flu, his fever will gradually get higher especially at night. My best guess would be that it's the flu being that he has a fever and is throwing up. For now, since it's only 100.3 don't do anything for it unless it gets above 102. Fevers are the body's way of fighting off infection and if you treat it when it's too low it can cause the body to take longer to fight the infection.
It might be teething, but I doubt it. And if it is then you should take him to see a doctor. Teething should never be accompanied by throwing up.

there are many causes for low grade temps. in toddlers. it could be the flu or another virus. how long has this been going on? can he keep down food or is it just the medicine that he is throwing up? if he cant keep anything down and it has been longer then a few days a visit to the doctor is warrented. however, if it just the medicine he is throwing up keep an eye on the temp for a few days. low grade fevers do the body good because they help fight infection so bringing it down can actually hinder the body's ability to fight it. i hope this helps a little bit.

There are tons of things that can cause a low grade temp in toddlers. Teething, ear infection, cold, stomach virus, the list can go on. It depends on what the other symptoms are. If his only other symptom is throwing up, it could be either stomach virus or inner ear infection. With an inner ear infection the balance is thrown off inside the head, which makes you sick to your stomach. If he's taking fluids at all, make sure he gets plenty. If he won't take any fluids, watch for dehydration. It can creep up quickly in infants and toddlers!! I would take him to the dr or hospital and have it checked out. Good luck and I hope that he's better soon!!!!

Fevers are not always a bad thing. They help fight off viruses. Does he have any other symptoms? like a yucky nose or anything? A fever that low isn't anything to worry about. Make sure he gets lots of fluids and if you take the temp in the armpit remember to add a whole degree to it.

Any kind of sickness could cause a low-grade fever, could even be something he ate. Keep an eye on the fever - you may even want to run a tempid bath to bring the fever back down.

depends on the kid, some down like meds. so they get worked up and end up throwing it up. or just the taste and tecture of it might get the gag reflux going.thats not a high fever so it might be just teething. or just a cold. kids tend to get fevers for the littlest things.were as we can hadle things abit better. i would call the doc and let them know sometimes they will just say what to do and if it doesnt work then go see them. just watch him and what he does. he if does things that arent right or normally besides sleep more then call right away just to make sure. i bet hes fine and just teething.

yeah thats form of frightening that he could positioned her on an antibiotic without understanding precisely what he substitute into treating. you may get a 2d opinion. i could certainly think of approximately going as much as the emergency room the place you have an entire team of scientific institution docs which would be handy to possibly have extra expertise or a minimum of carry out extra try. once you circulate to the emergency you should assert that her fever continues to be extreme and you acquire traumatic so which you further her in. human beings carry infants into the emergency room extremely many times even nonetheless its no longer existence threatening, in the experience that your traumatic or scared its worth it to you, even with each little thing its your toddler your managing!

Watch him and keep him hydrated. Keep water or gatorade by his side with a straw so he's able to drink a sip or two every few minutes.
