Once the water boils, the temperature will pretty much be constant. Turn off the stove, place the bottle with milk in the pan and test it every 30 seconds, mixing it gently each time. Test the milk on your wrist and whoala!

Just a note: You can give your baby room temperature or even cool formula. It's up to you wether you want the baby to get used to drinking it warm. You can great information on babycenter.com.

Unless you live in some remote area that uses well water you no longer have to boil the water. Call the hospital and ask if the water supply in your area is okay. I called the hospital that i delivered at and they said if you are on the cities water then don't worry about it. The waters safe.

you can just use the microwave, like 20 seconds. put the powder and the water in the bottle and put it in there.

whoever gave me a thumbs down needs to tell me why. don't be scared.

if you shake the bottle when it comes out, you will not have hot spots because all of the liquid will be mixed........common sense

As long as you are in a good quality water area, just do the same as you would for a cup of tea.

dont put it in the microwave!!!!! it can scald the baby's mouth and send him to the ER. the wayer should be as warm as when you test it on your wrist it is not too hot for your wrist.
