Most pedis say about 6 months. Even at that I didn't give my daughter more than about 4-6 ozs of juice per day. Remembering most of her nutrition comes from formula.

Hi, Christine, My pediatrician said OK to give a little half-strength juice starting at 6 months but she also said, and I quote, "Too much juice makes kids little and dumb." In other words, too many calories from juice means they are not getting the other nutrients they need for growth and brain development. I gave my baby water -- very little juice. Good luck with your precious little one! :-)

4-6 months is when you can start giving a baby juice
start with about 2-4oz. then gradually advance them, also dilute the juice with baby water at first so its not as strong for the baby because they are trying something new.. good luck

We have a 2 year old now and we did not give her juice until about 12 months and when we did it was very watered down she drank mostly milk and water. its not unhealthy but to much can destroy there teeth even from out of a bottle

Usually you can introduce juice when they are six months, and make sure it is diluted at first.

6 months is a good age as long as it's a bit diluted and sugar-free.

6 months is what Doctors say..UNLESS she's constipated.

Then you should talk to your doctor because mine recommended it earlier on.
