I just found out I'm having a girl. My husband and I originally said if it was a girl, we'd name her Angelina because it is his grandmother's name, and it reminds me of my grandmother because she always used to play Louis Prima albums. However, we've changed our minds because it's become so popular, and I always wanted my child to have a name of her own that wasn't shared with 1 or 2 other kids in her class. We like Italian names, but now we're stuck. We've come up with Marlena, Magdalena, Rosabella, and some others, but we're still just in the brainstorming stage.

When I was pregnant with my second child, my husband and I came up with Angelina as well, and then changed our mind due to the popularity. We were not sure if what we were having, the ultrasounds could never see the sex.
Well to our surprise, we had twins, one boy and one girl. Still hooked on Angelina, we named her Lena Marie, and her brother is Lionel Mathew! I also like the name, which is very seldom used for a girl, Kadence and Evangeline (we live in the south and Evangeline means (sweet girl). Good luck and god bless

There are many great websites and books that have specific nationality searches, or random generators. There is actually something on Blogthings.com that allows you to type in any name and it will give you an Italtian name back. It says it is for a blog so you have to choose a code, but they will still give you the name even if you don't use the code for anything. The site link is in sources. Hope this helped! Good luck with your pregnancy!

Hum, I didn't realize Angelina has become that popular I have 2 girls grades kindergarten and 4th, and no where in their rosters is the name Angelina so I don't think it is that popular., so me personally I would go with his Grandmothers name, for the reason of its beauty and the meaning behind it, your daughter will love it!!! And the other names you picked for me personally don't do anything...Good luck!
