Me and my boyfriend been dating for 2 years and 2 months. We meet each other parents and other family members. I knew it was bound to happen because we start having sex. The biggest scare is he is a twin and I can handle 1 but not 2. I need yall to help me breaking it down to my mom. One of my ideas was just don't tell her untill I start showing. Now this right here is going to be the talk of my whole family. I don't want to have a abortion me and my boyfriend already talked about but it's not really what we want it's what our parents want when they found out. Now I fell like I miss up my boyfriend life because this is his last year in school. Please help me......

i have an 8 month old son who sleeps pretty good, but usually wakes up once, sometimes twice during the night. most of the time it's pretty easy to get him to sleep again, i just pick him up, give him his pacifier and hold him for a minute, then i lay him back down. easy to do, however, i don't want to have to do this every night until he's 3 years old. what can i do to help him learn to fall back asleep by himself?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. I took two home pregnancy tests today. Clearblue digital was positive and the "Baby Test" (from Dollar General) was negative. I'm going in to my doctor's office for another test in about an hour.
I think it might be a false positive because I've read a lot about false positives with digital tests and because I'm experiencing symptoms of PMS, but I still hope that it may be for real. Thank you so much for your prayers! God bless!

biter biscuits and gerber wagon wheels etc. bigger finger foods to chew on. he does fine with them, seemingly, but he of course tries to stick the whole thing in his mouth and it makes me crazy. he gets some big pieces and i'm afraid of him choking. am i just being overly nervous?

Yesterday I was having so much contractions that I went to see my doctor. He sent me too the emergency room and I was put on the monitor. The scary thing was my baby heart rate kept on dropping and then it would come back to normal. I was told to stay at the hospital until the morning. Instead I asked the doctor to be discharged because the contractions stop and my baby's heart rate was getting better. So I was told to return to the ER on Wednesday so they could further monitor my little one. Do you think that I should have stayed? If I honestly felt that the baby was in danger I would have stayed.

and is a lovely girl and a very caring person when it comes to her friends and family.
she recently passed her driving test and thinks nothing of getting up early to drive me to work if i cant get a lift when on early shift.
she is at uni locally at the mo studying to be a primary school teacher. I know she has a lot of work on her plate but does anyone have an opinion on how much should be expected of her around the house.
I work 40 hours a week trying to keep the mortgage paid. I also have a 15 yr old son still at school.
They will both help out if i ask them but i am fed up with coming home from work, tired out, to find that the sink is full of dishes and the place needs hoovering etc.,
also my main bug bear is her room. it is like a tip with piles and piles and piles of clothes scatterred. glasses on every surface you get the picture.
No matter how often i say something, it remains the same. help, how can i change her attitude. she hoards too so that adds to her mess

And then have someone tell you that you're SO LUCKY YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORK?!
Yesterday my day started at 5am. Baby's diaper leaked. Had to clean him, feed him & take care of wet crib. Then he pooped & it came out of his diaper all over his clothes. Got on his tummy, legs, hands & feet & while cleaning this up I have to try to keep his hands out of his mouth. He's teething which is KILLING me & makes me cry that he's in so much pain. I have to make 2 important phone calls while holding my finger in a cold washcloth in his mouth trying to keep him quiet while I'm on the phone. Doing the usual sterilzing water, washing bottles, making formula, feeding him from bottle & a couple jars of baby food. 2 loads of laundry & other cleaning that just can't wait. A man came to fix the furnace while I was giving the baby a bath. And then there's entertaining the baby, quality time, trying to distract him from the pain in his mouth... I could write more but don't know if people read long questions.

Does anyone happen to know what the going rate is to provide child care for a 2 yr. old......who is not potty trained (still in diapers) and is still on the bottle......my girlfriend is providing care for her neighbors little boy......and the neighbor is insists that the going rate is $4.00 hr.....I think this is very low.....especially to receive child care by an adult to who is providing for the child while caring for him.....Anyone have any idea of the current child care rate?
Thank you.

i was on the combined pill but my packet ran out and i had to wait a few days before i could go to the doctors and have the depo injection. me and my boyfriend then didn't use contraception for the week after the injection when we should have (not a good idea i know). now i keep gettin headaches, my breasts are sore, i feel bloated and completely not myself and i haven't had a period for 2 months (this could be due to the injection). anybody think it's worth worrying about? i don't have the time to go to the doctors (and can never get an appointment anyway)!! HELP!!!

I want to give my husband a surprise 50th birthday party in the fellowship hall of our church. There is limited seating area and so I want to tell people not to bring their children. How should I go about doing this without stepping on toes? There's simple not enough room for all the adults and their children. (not to mention they are a distraction) I do not want to have to plan [seating, food, and intertainment] for a bunch of kids.
What should I do?
