i was on the combined pill but my packet ran out and i had to wait a few days before i could go to the doctors and have the depo injection. me and my boyfriend then didn't use contraception for the week after the injection when we should have (not a good idea i know). now i keep gettin headaches, my breasts are sore, i feel bloated and completely not myself and i haven't had a period for 2 months (this could be due to the injection). anybody think it's worth worrying about? i don't have the time to go to the doctors (and can never get an appointment anyway)!! HELP!!!

do a home pregnant test and/or go book an appointment if anything it will ease ur mind at least I'll no! I'm waiting for my results from my Doctor 2 find out wither I'm pregnant or not so i no wot its like having it going on in your head good luck xx

Make an appointment at your Dr's. It'll be worth taking time off, wouldn't you rather put your mind at rest?
I'm taking the Depo injection too and I've had periods right from the beginning. I was asked by my contraceptive nurse if I wanted a pregnancy test, I was alarmed by this (obviously because I thought why? I'm on the injection, why would I be pregnant?)
So yes, it's possible to get pregnant, even when you think you might be covered by your contraception, so YOU should definately go for a pregnancy test considering you didn't cover yourself.

I wouldve said it could be either pregnancy or the effects of being off of the pill and depo injection. But I dont know if that will affect you for two months. So im leaning towards pregnancy. My best suggestion is go and get a home pregnancy test and if it comes out positive please make an appointment to see your doctor.

The side effect you describe are why I stopped getting the shot.(bloating, sore breasts, headaches, I had nausea too) I felt pregnant. But I wasn't, I tested 2-3 times while on the shot. If I were you I would take a test, but more than likely it's just the side effects. I thought not having a period would be a great side effect, but it messed with my head too bad. Get a test to be sure, but odds are your just suffering from the side effects. Good Luck.

Get and ept. If it's positive then make the appointment. The Depo shots you are getting every can be hurting the baby if you are pregnant.
THE other thing is the depo shots fools the body into believeing it's pregnant. Therefore what you are experiencing can very well be a side effect of the shots.

Well firstly you should calm down...
Go to the store and buy a pregnancy test, even if the results are negative still be on the look out because you never know with home pregnancy tests. Re-Test as many times as you think you should.
If you start getting sick then you should worry and try to get in to see a doctor.

Id get a home pregnancy kit straight away or go to your local family planning clinic and get them to do a test. Also at my doctors if you need a pregnancy test doing you can just take a urine sample to them and they will test it for you. Just ring up first and ask if they provide this service, think it takes a few days for the result to come through.
You need to take action now regardless of how busy you are, even if its just to put your mind at rest.

It sounds like the similar symptoms i had when i first thought i was pregnant.(im now 36 weeks!) Best thing is to hand in an early morning sample (white top bottle) to GP or get someone to hand it in for you. You don't need to see GP- just wait 2/3 days for result. goodluck.

some of the side effects could be down to the depo. my advice would be to just do a test. i hope you get the result you want.
