My son is a fisherman. I just put his costume together. Really easy! Red Flannel Shirt, Jeans, boots and he has a fishing pole and hat. I can't see spending 40.00 on a costume that he will wear once. And he didn't like anything they had anyway this year. He is 3 and we wanted him to be a Jedi but, the costumes were made for big kids.

My one-year old was a skunk. I just bought a little skunk headband and tail. His coat covered up the rest of him, so he just wore regular clothes. Cost $8 cuz I waited til yesterday and it went on clearance.

My 3-yr-old was a witch. She already had a dress and hat that she likes to use for dress up. She didn't mind at all. We painted her face green and sprayed her hair green. She wore striped tights to keep her legs warm. Cost $3 for green paint & spray.

My 8-yr-old went looking for a mask, but didn't like anything, so he just decided to wear his mask from last year. He said what was important to him was how much candy he got. Cost $0

Total Halloween costume cost for 3: $11

My 6 year old went as Spiderman.....again! I bought it and I have to fight with him to get him to take it off. It's got the "muscles" in it and it lights up. My 5 month old didn't dress up. 1. He hates wearing regular clothes, forget getting him in a costume. 2. It rained really bad,so my husband took Spiderman trick or treating and I kept the little one inside.

My 7 year old wanted to be something scary this year unlike the princesses she was in years past. :) She is a witch this year. We bought part of it and I made the rest. She however didn't want a green face. She wanted to be a "pretty" wicked witch. She's driving me crazy. :) My 6 year old is a mid century princess and that costume was a hand me down made by my great aunt. My 2 year old is a ghost. I made it myself. She is too cute!!!!!!

My youngest son is four months and he is going as superman, we got his costume off of eBay with a lot of clothes that I bought for him. My daughter is three and my eldest son is seven and they are going as Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the Dr. Seuss books, and I made their costumes.

(almost) 3 yr old- supposed to be a ghost, but changed to a chearleader...... cuter when she says it......(almost) 12 year old was a hippy. My wife made the hippy outift along with sewing the legs of the pants to be bell bottoms. Used an old 2nd pair of jeans for the extension of the current jeans...My wife went as supermom. Amazingly enough, she's that every year.....

My daughter is 4yrs. old and she is dressing up as a princess and I brought the costume.

My 7yrs old son is dressing up as superman...

My 14 yr. old is not into dressing up because he feels that he is too old. I told him that alot of adults dress up too for the fun of it, this has nothing to do with age... He still does not want to wear anything, so I left him alone...
