That is up to you. If it is a boy don't go out and start buying boy things. Really, if I were you, I won't buy a thing.

When I had my two girls there was no such thing as finding out what the baby was going to be. They have come a long ways.

Now what I would do if it were me.....I wouldn't tell anyone and then after the baby has arrived, have a welcome home party for the little one. There is nothing wrong with that. Instead of a baby shower and getting all green and yellow things that's what I would do.

I have heard of parties being thrown as a welcome home from the hospital party and I think it is great....AND congratulations on your little one.

You will have to get back with us after the baby is born, to let US know if it is boy or girl....good luck on your decision.

I think that you should do what you feel is best. Keep it a secret and then tell them after the baby is born. There is nothing wrong with keeping a secret like that.. Congratulations!!!!

It's up to you. Will your relatives start telling you what you should name the baby once they find out what it is or will they leave you alone and let you choose the name? That would influence my decision. Good luck.

I think it would be great to keep it to yourselves, but if you know, and start buying things, people will figure out that the dress you bought isn't for a boy

It's your call. if it's a girl, then you are all set with what you need, but if its a boy then you will need some new stuff. do you want people to be able to give you boy things or gender neutral things?
