My son was made to hug another male student after a disagreement. According to others the two boys initially put their arms on each other's shoulders and the teacher is to have told my son that he was to hug the other boy as if he were a "big ole teddy bear." My son said the entire class laughed at him. He is already having problems with the others calling him "fatty" and I think this teacher was very insensitive. She is the one that called our attention to the fact that he was being picked on in the first place. What do you think?

Ok, so my 5, almost 6 yo, has been diagnosed with ADHD. (It's been a long haul!!) We have been trying everything for the past 2 years to not have to put him on meds but at this point we have run out of other options to help him. My question is does anyone have any experience with ADHD drugs? the dr want's ritalin but I am not sure. I have read up on the different meds available and so far it is between ritalin and conterta. Some insight would be nice right about now. Thanks for anything!

im a few weeks pregnant and everytime i want to eat food even just thinking about food makes me wanna vomit, ugh it feels horrible esp. when im at work, im going crazy!! does anyone know any remedies or should i just run to my doctor?

I had a miscarriage aug 24th, I didnt need an D&C the dr. said i passed everything an now im 8 weeks would there be any complications due to the previous miscarriage?

When we go to McDonalds he gets so excited playing he will throw up? Also, if he is upset he will work himself up to the point he will throw up? It is not all the time. I take him to the park and this has never happened there. It just seems like when we go to McDonald. Sometimes we have just arrived, and he has only played for a few minutes. Any idea other than the obvious one of taking him to the doctor. I will bring it up at his next physical. Just to repeat myself it does not happen all the time just enough to concern me. He is a happy toddler in all other ways other than his speech and he is picking up new words daily. Let me know if anyone has ever heard of this. P. S. It has happened three times in the last month.

I just today got a positive result on a hpt, I am between 18-21 days late, and I was just wondering if not having sore breasts was a bad sign? My breasts aren't sore but my nipple area is. I am going to go get a blood test to be sure, but I have had headaches, cramps, some heartburn, and I have also been having little hotflashes. Also I was wondering if shortness of breath is a symptom or anyone has experienced it while being pregnant.

I have two kids. A 3yr old and a 1 & 1/2 yr old. When we where going through the check out at the grocery store I realized they both had candy bars and where eating them. I took the candy bars from them and had the guy scan them and throw them away. I told them both they where bad for stealing. My 3 yr old apologized about 5 minutes after when she had time to think about it. I'm denying them candy until Halloween. My son is now 9 1/2 mos and has been pulling himself up to a standing position for about a month now. My problem is that he loves chewing on his crib. He uses his teeth to scrape the paint off. Whenever i pick him up from the crib, his mouth is speckled with white dots. What do i do? btw, its one of those wooden cribs painted white.

Why is it when you are trying to not have a baby, you worry worry worry that missing one darn pill, or over one broken condom that you could concieve, but when you are TTC (trying to concieve) - you use no protection at all and it is really hard to concieve??? How does that make any sense?
