I'm sure you will not believe this but, with my first born, a son, black licorice, 2nd a daughter, red licorice.
My son was born with black hair, my daughter, red. This is the gospel truth.

On my 1st pregnancy i craved FOOD. Nothing in particular but if i got somrthing in2 my head i needed it then and there or else i cried until i got it, i just couldnt help it, it was horrilble but my daughter is 4 now and has a brilliant appitite. She eats v.well and doesnt turn up her nose 2 healthy food like other kids i know her age.
My second pregancy was totally different, i sniffed shoe polish all the time. I even slept with it under my pillow so i cud wake up in middle of nite and have a fix. My partner used 2 come home from work and laugh at me cos my nose wud b black. I tasted it once but it didnt taste like it smelled but it still didnt stop me sniffing.....
My daughter is now almost 11 months and perfectly healthy so all ok.

I craved anything and everything with cinnamon. And the smell of wet dirt after a rain. Weird I know. Not that I wanted to eat it, just wanted to smell it all of the time. I hear that they actually make "edible" dirt for pregnant women. Now that is weird.

Cadbury's Crunchy Bars. We lived in Belguim at the time and the only place you could get them back then, was 200 kilometres away. My husband drove all the way up to Brussels and bought a huge carton of 200 bars!!!! I ate the lot (but not all at once!).

Your craving doesn't sound that weird! I used to eat pilchards in tomato sauce and add brown sauce to it. My friend used to sniff soil!!!! She used to go round DIY stores sniffing all the bags of soil. Although she was adamant that she never got the urge to have a bite? i don't believe her, but even sniffing it that's weird.

I always craved Salt and Vinegar chips. One time I couldn't find any anywhere...so I improvised and put white distilled vinegar in a bowl and dipped plain chips in it. It was not that good but cured the craving.

Microwaved bacon (has to be cooked this way for the right texture) on a piece of bread with mayonnaise and mustard mixed together. YUMMY!
