Well, I had a regular cold that lasted four days and I didn't get too sick. Just sneezing, some coughing, and a little congested with sinus pressure. Yesterday she coughed off and on but nothing serious, no fevers. I did give her a couple doses of Tylenol cough & cold for infants as the doctor instructed me to do should she get another cold. She seemed to feel better. Today she had a runny nose off and on and wasn't coughing much. I only gave her one dose of medicine in the morning when she was coughing. I used saline nose drops tonight to try and help with her nose so she could sleep better. I have the humidifier running in her room and she hasn't coughed in her sleep yet so far (it's 10:45 here, she went to bed @ 7:30). Do you think she will get any worse since my cold was not bad at all? And since she has not gotten any worse in two days? Do you have any similar experience with your children that you could share? So maybe I can worry just a little less? Thanks! :)

I was fingering my girlfriend once, and she noticed a little bit like a drop of blood the next day. Did her cherry pop? about a month later, we had sex but only the tip of my penis went in, i didn't ejaculate fully, but a couple of drops might have gotten in, could she get pregnant, even if her cherry didn't pop?

Me and my husband are trying to have a baby. I got off birth control about 5 months ago and have and normal periods. Last month's period was Extremely light. I usually am very heavy but it lasted for about 6 days and was just spotting. I took a preg test right before and it was negative. I thought maybe it is the birth control finally trying to get out of my system, but I really don't know. What do you think is going on, and how long did it take you to get preg when you got off birth control. (I was on Alesse 28, it is supposed to be a low-dose) but I have been on and off birth contol for about 5 years. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My niece is 13 and I'm worried because she does NOTHING wrong. She is great and unlike my other nieces she is fun to be around and doesn't seem to have that teenage attitude. She is like a perfect angel:
-She has straight A+ in all of her honors classes. She works on homework every night and is always the leader and does most of the work when she's in a group
-She is the most independent child I know. She gets herself up and ready and on the bus, comes home, does homework and take a little nap, cooks herself dinner, takes a shower, watch some tv and goes to bed. She spends her weekends doing homework
-She loves to volunteer and collect for charity
-She assures us she won't have sex until she's at least out of college (She doesn't want a boyfriend because schools more important)
-She cleans up for everyone with no complaints
-She acts like a mother to her cousins and does it with a smile
-She enjoys intellectual conversations
Should I be worried? can any real teen act this way?

Ok. my 12 year old sister is having sex. I've tried talking to her and to get her to stop. I
ve told her she could get pregnant or catch a STD. She told me she wants to be just like me and the same thing happened to me when I was 12. So what should i do because i don't want her to end up like me i just want her to be her own person and have her own thoughts. I already let her her know that i would be there for her no matter what and that I wouldn't tell our mother and everything she says is confidential but i just had to let someone know about this because i'm stuck. I'm 17 now and I've decided to have sex when I''m married even though I've already lost. What should i do to help her and change her thougts and think about what's she's doing.

My period is usually around 24-29 or so days apart (it can vary from month to month sometimes). My bf has this idea in his head that when I'm ovulating, my vagina feels hotter (as in a raise in temperature... I don't mean this in a perverted sense). I tried researching it online and found nothing. When a woman is ovulating, will her body temperature (day temp, not morning basal) actually rise or is it in his head?

I will be 37 weeks pregnant on Wednesday, well my husband is in the Army and has to leave for Alaska on October 31st and I will not see him again till I move up there with him. He has been my coach and my everything throughout this pregnancy and I would really like for him to be there... but thats not all. Starting November 3rd my parents will be on trips for the rest of the month so I will have no one to help me if I go into labor, I will pretty much be alone. Now how would I go about asking to be induced? I just moved back home so this Thursday will be my first appointment with this doctor. I am 60% effaced and dialated 1cm.

I was just wondering how many parents are honest with their kids and how many people sugar coat things? Do your kids know about the war in Iraq? Do your kids know about the situation of the world? Why or why not? To what degree do they know about them? Do you feel it’s important for them to understand what the “real world” is like--or do you feel the need to preserve their innocence?

I do not need advice as to how to explain things to my children. I was just wondering how other parents explain the current issues in the world today with their kids.

Im healthy, i dont smoke, i dont drink. I got pregnant by accident and i dont want to have an abortion. Most of my friends told me that there is a big risk that my baby will be abnormal or very sick. I worry too much about this, but i cant kill a baby. Thank you for any advice.

yeah i know this question might be asked a lot...but what do you think of a 15 yr old girl getting pregnant?im 15 too but not pregnant. I took a home test in september which said negative

and I feel normal as ever

I have heard that microwaving food in plastic containers can cause cancer. Since my 5 month old baby chews on his plastic toys, I don't want to take that chance and I don't have the time to wait for water to boil on the stove.
