ok my friend is 36.2 weeks pregant and she's already 3 cm and she's getting several cramps throughout everyday.. when should she go into the hospital??

I just took a pregnancy test, and it was positive (which I suspected). I still have to confirm it with a doctor, but I'm apprehensive about telling my boyfriend. I don't think he will be super-excited about the news. Any ideas on how/when I should tell him?

What does it cost you to have a baby, and for ultrasounds and prenatal care and such. I am just interested cause I am canadian and everything regarding pregnancy, ultrasounds, c-sections and such are free. So whats the average cost?

My daughter is 5 she goes to the dentist and brushes everyday but this morning woke up with pain in her mouth. i looked and saw that the tooth all the way in the back has the gums behind the tooth is swollen and covering half of it.looks swollen and very pink/red in color. it hurts her when she chews and she is running a fever,,, im gonna take her monday morning but does anyone know what this could be?

HI EVERYONE THIS IS MY PROBLEM I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET MY PERIOD ON SEPTEMBER 25 AND I HAVE NOT GOTTEN IT YET! He is a terror! He gets into everything he is not supposed to. I tell him no, try to distract him but as soon as I'm done he goes right back to doing it. I will do this over and over. There is only so much child proofing you can do! And it's like he knows what he is doing is wrong but gets this smirk on his face and trys to get away with it. I don't beleive in spanking or even hitting his hand. He will grab our kitten by his tail and hang him up side down. No matter what I do he continues with this behavior! is it just a boy thing or what? he is a little terror and is already walking! What should I do to get him to stop when he does something he is not supposed to? I know he knows what no means, he probably thinks it's his name! Help!

I am 34 weeks pregnant and had been having sharp shooting pains deep inside my vagina today, possibly cervical area. They come and go quickly, but are there long enough to make me stop what I am doing. They occur when sitting and standing.

Later on, the pains also seem to be just above my pubic bone and seem to be worse when I stand. So they are happening in both places.

This is baby #2, I have had no bleeding, Braxton Hicks contractions, plenty of movement. Baby is not breech, no complications during this pregnancy. Not really concerned because there is no bleeding or other symptoms, just wondering what it could be.

We recently got rid of our dogs and now have noticed fleas all over, we did not notice them before.I have fogged and put spray everywhere but they will not leave my 3yr old daughter alone. She keeps getting bit even after putting her in just washed pj's and sheets. They mostly happen while she sleeps. I have put lotion and calamine lotion on her but it does not stop the itch or keep them from biting. I need some ideas as to what i should do to get rid of them and to keep them from biting her. She has about 70 bites and I know it can make her sick. Some Help Please!!!!! I had no idea what category this falls under but I know it has to do with making my daughter feel better.

A co-worker tried to make me feel like a bad mother for not spending the extra $$ for the name brand formula. She said "you don't know what they put in that stuff". The Target brand is FDA approved and has the same ingrediants as the name brand. I do know the texture is a little different though. Should I be ashamed for not spending the extra $$ if I'm BROKE?! I don't think so.
