Tell your boss first. Co-workers, bless their hearts, have a hard time keeping the good news to themselves. Your boss will be irritated if it gets back to her from someone other than you.

You need to tell your boss first!!! Its only good work ethic. Then you can let the co-workers know as you grow. If your boss finds out from someone other than you, it could cause alot of friction. And some states are "Right to work" states. They can fire you for no reason at all. So your BOSS needs to know if you can not perform you job functions. Not your co-workers. They say that you shouldn't tell anyone until you are past your first trimester, when your chances of miscarrying drop 15%.

i found at my work, that if you want the boss to know, tell the co-workers! I told a few close people and 2 days later the boss was asking me about it. I wouldnt say anything till you are a bit further along just in case, but i understand why you want to

If you are in healthcare, then tell your boss, and co-workers relativly early. Everyone is super understanding, and really helpful. You don't want to strain trying to cover it up, and people will sorta figure it out when you are being more careful.

If you really don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet....fake drinking!! Get a virgin Bloody Mary or fruity something. Many, many women postpone making the announcement until after the 1st trimester anyway. You could also beg off that you are trying to lose weight and we all know booze is a biggie when it comes to empty calories

I told my boss right away, but he's great...more like family than boss. It was right after valentines day when I found out so he bought me and the baby a valentine.

If your job requires you to do things that you shouldn't be doing while pregnant, then you should tell your boss.

You need to tell someone, preferably the boss. What if something bad happens to you while you are at work? No one will know to be carefull if you don't tell them.
